Jeez! Andy and Dougy continue their recliner war today. Some of us (me) are getting a bit tired of the kitty boys’ “war”!
=(^+^)=
Andy notices Dougy’s soliciting support for a take over….
Dougy is mad! He wants that dang recliner, folks!
Checking with me first for approval…
…or whatever support he can get, Dougy stages eye contact with Andy! Ears back, it’s ON!!
The coup is on!
Dougy glares at Andy (off camera)….
“MINE!” he proclaims after a successful recliner seizure.
That’s Caturday this week. The kitty boys don’t share well when it’s a prize like the recliner!
Pieces of furniture are often under contention here. Hope Dougy’s eye feels better soon.
I can imagine, with that many cats! LOL! Are you and your husband allowed to sit on anything?
How kitty belongs work: What’s mine is mine…what’s yours is ours.

So much for gentle Persian nature….!

Hi Doug and the Boyz, my catz can get down right mean when it is a prize like my lap. Between my tummy, and two cats there is really no room and when a third tries to ascend; my tummy is the one that gets swatted most often. Aahhh this life of living with furry demons. ~~dru~~
Dougy and Andy have settled down a bit since that exchange. i hope it sticks!
i shutter to think
of the carnage

bed pillows 🙂
Yeah! pretty grim, even for the excellent athletes both Andy and Dougy are!
A cat Saturday
What a time
Hope all is well

Tomorrow’s blog goes into detail: it was grim, stressful, but eventually came to resolution of three big problems. All in all, the kitties and I are glad the day is mostly done!
Never-ending mischief.
Turns out Dougy had a medical issue (conjunctivitis in the left eye), which surely contributed to his grumpy behavior this week. It’s in treatment now.
Poor fellow. I’m glad you found out.
That eye would swell, then look better. I finally (probably later than I should have) decided he should see his veterinarian. My first thought was that he rubbed his eye too hard when getting sleep out of his eyes in the morning, causing the swelling which then subsided. I’m glad I got smart, finally, and got it taken care of. I’ll keep this in mind in future. It makes me mad at myself that I didn’t just get him to the veterinarian’s when I first noticed the swelling!
It is funny ! When cats have one particular idea in their lovely little heads, they are stick to it.
Even persians, sweet, lovely persians ! amitiés -kissies for the kitties – france
Dougy a une conjonctivite dans son œil gauche. Il est en traitement maintenant. Je pense que cela explique son comportement anormalement grincheux cette semaine.
Dougy has conjunctivitis in his left eye. It’s in treatment now. I think that explains his unusually grumpy behavior this week.
Gasp! I was afraid that would end in a ball of flying fur and badly scratched cats 😂
Hey, there was one moment when Dougy bit Andy really hard on the neck. I expected blood (there was none) or a mouthful of Andy’s fur to remain in Dougy’s mouth! Fortunately, no harm was done. On top of it, Dougy had a medical issue that might explain his exceptional grumpiness this week: conjunctivitis in the left eye. More details in Sunday’s blog! (Caturday was a mess at this house, let me tell you! Oh, tomorrow I guess I do just that!! LOL!)
They keep you busy don’t they! 😉
Quite a bit!
