Both Dougy and Andy are mild cats, part of their Persian cat heritage. That doesn’t mean they don’t have their days. The day I took them to be groomed last week, for example, was Dougy’s day to be naughty.
I know most people doubt Dougy is ever naughty, that I “exagggerate” his misdeeds of that day, but take a close look at the photo above. Notice the position of the chair…. Yes, knocked over during the chase where it landed on top of things that had been on the seat, waiting for me to sort through them.
The knocked over chair created a convenient pocket in which to hide from “The Man”, a hiding spot that revealed Dougy’s lack of comprehension of the difference between thinking you can’t be seen if you can’t see your pursuer and you can be seen if your fluffy butt’s exposed but your head’s hidden.
Once Dougy hid there, he assured his capture!
Even with photo evidence, I do NOT believe Dougy is ever naughty! And with that sweet precious face, I wouldn’t believe it, even if I saw it! 😉
Hey, we all get into mischief at times! I know I do! 😀
HUGS to Dougy and HUGS for you and Andy, too! 🙂
Not to talk out of church, but the boys are really hard on leather-covered furniture! My bed looks like I own a naughty cat for the way the mattress is shredded on the one side Dougy and Andy visit me when they are trying to get me up to feed them. Though they use their scratching posts religiously (as far as a cat can do that…!), they also use other things not included in the mix. Dougy used to drag his butt across the carpet before I started getting the boys groomed. That’s one way he dislodged poopballs trapped in his butt hair. Ugh! Technically, that wasn’t naughty, I guess, but it was unsavory as heck! 🙁
I bet you can’t stay angry at such a cute face for too long…
I don’t stay angry long. I know they will do the right thing most of the time, and are really sweet cats!
Of course they are!
Andy and Dougie are so soft and fluffy, hope they are not hurt knocking in chairs!!
No, lots of racket, but no injuries!
Oh man our fur kids can really push us to the limit on our patience.
I was sleeping very soundly and got woke up by the sound of loud scraping from the kitchen.
Ali had been watching the birds shadows coming in through the window with the sun shining on the wall.
She decided to climb on the table and then up the wall and slide down leaving claw marks all the way down.
That Dougy has one adorable face.
Dougy says “Mrow!” Thanks! He and his brother are cuties for sure, and their personalities (generally!) are quite charming.
Andy is my wall climber. More specifically, I have thermal windows with the screens on the inside. Every screen in the house looks like a cat climbed it a time or two…or more! Guess who will have a big bill if he ever moves from this apartment?!
lol that’s so funny, in a fluffy butt kind of way! 😀
It’s funny to me now, but I was livid the day he put me through this chase! He’s so cute that it’s hard to be mad at either Dougy or his brother Andy.
