Post 645: The fugitive Andy makes an appearance…finally!

Andy just popped up out of nowhere after being in hiding all day.

Lick-lick-lick! He smoothed his hair in a most becoming way and waited for me to take his photo, which I add to the one of Dougy I posted earlier today.

Andy won the game today. It's too late for his medicine. Coincidentally, it's "feed the kitties" time.

He moved to action over to the blue carrier, which is closer to the "feed the kitty" spot. Andy, you little scoundrel! I'll feed you anyway!

  1. Many years ago I was enjoying a well-earned soak in my fiancées tub when the huge fluffy cat she was babysitting came in. I forget cat’s name and markings but with the curiosity of the species she jumped up, and quite without the famed agility of the species completely lost her footing and fell in.
My reflexes were swift enough to prevent what could have been painful (for me) but when I lifted her out she’d shrunk right down to something the size and shape of a soggy rat …

    Cats. Ya gotta love ’em.

    • Great story! Yes, having given both of my cats baths before — and, I hope, never again — I am very familiar with the sight and impression your fiancée’s cat gave when soaked. I doubt there is anything sadder or more pathetic than a soaked cat trying to be cool about it! 🙂

    • Ha! Ha! I luck out, then because here Dougy rubs back and forth on my ankle, and it feels quite pleasing! 😉 Of course, as with your kitty, the intent is to get me moving toward the kitchen.
