Generally speaking, one of our cats comes upstairs to snuggle before going downstairs and the other sleeps downstairs. Now they are both in bed with us or both downstairs curled up together. Naturally each gets one side of the bed warmer if they are in our bed.
Andy likes to sleep on a dresser next to my bed, and Dougy occasionally stops by to sleep next to me for a little bit, but never longer than ten or so minutes.
Wow. You get to use your entire bed?
Most of the time! Of course, Dougy stops by from time for a little meow-fest, I suppose to try to get Andy to join him in that odd little game they invented since I always see the wand toy they use on the floor by my bed when he does this.
Got to love the furry hot water bottle. 😉
“It” even give massages. (A bit prickly, but massages just the same!)
Take it any way you can get it! Lets face it, it’s probably the only massage we are going to get in the foreseeable future. 😀

Dougy has a really sweet disposition, too, though he and his brother Andy are both extremely spoiled. (I don’t know how that happened…!)

It just happened. I got them as kittens, so, of course, was quite charmed by their sweetness and playfulness. When they were naughty, I wasn’t firm with them, and Dougy (in particular) still scratches on things he’s not supposed to, the little rat!
This is it… They worm their way into your hearts then they get away with everything!
If you could see how shredded my computer chair is, you’d know how true that is! (Dougy is a very bad kitty!)

Dougy looks right at me, gets a defiant look on his face, then scratches away! He really is incorrigible on this point! His favorite scratching spots are right next to genuine scratching posts. It isn’t like he doesn’t have one available.
Lol! So we must have somehow managed to teach him something correctly at least!!
The television program “My Cat From Hell” correctly identifies behavioral problems with cats (dogs, children, spouses, whatever) as our own failure to establish who’s in charge. I’ve tried the spritzing with water and shaking a can of pennies to make a loud noise when he does the Big Naughty, but he is tenacious in his habit.
But you wouldn’t change him! ☺
I don’t think I have the will to change him…!
