Dougy whined for me to bring out the Neko toy first thing, of course, then he acted like it was too much to expect him to actually play with it, too.

Andy watched from the shadows. “What’s that dang Dougy doing anyway? Kill it already, brother! Kill It!”
“RAWR!!!!”
His brotherly advice taken, Andy went back to important Caturday business of his own.

He actually is pretty hot at hunting. I’d worry about letting him outside to do his thing because I am reasonably certain he’d wipe out bird life as I know it.
Well, a cat’s got to do what a cat’s got to do. I have a cockatiel, and he, of course, is in a cage. Even so, George will take a stroll in that direction. He can’t get into the cage, but it gives the bird fits anyway.
Smart bird! Better to be alert to the possibility than to “sleep with the lion”, eh!?

My bed just got blocked … by a tom with a really bad cold – he keeps sneezing … And YES, he has had his annual vaccination against cat flu – in September.
Oh no! I hope he feels better soon! If your cat’s like mine, he sneezes in your direction! Next to hairballs, it is pretty gross.

Thanks! Same to you, Tom! Andy’s perking up at the moment, meowing at Dougy to get his tail in gear and come out and play, but Dougy is resisting the urge to not nap. Poor Andy! I guess I will rub his whiskers and play with him till he’s ready for a nap.
Pretty much everyone here is down for the count. It’s a cold one outside so they’re happier just dozing. 🙂
Both of mine are off dozing someplace now. Andy finally got tired of trying to get Dougy to play, I guess.
