I keep waiting for it to happen! He’d have the advantage from there. Sometimes, when I sit in the recliner, one or the other cat will climb on the back. I get noses “snuffing” in my hair, sometimes paws pattycaking my head. It’s a crazy time!

They so. Unfortunately, flash photos of those eyes always turn them into demonic presences. I try to avoid flash with animal photos, but it isn’t always possible.
Some animals tolerate it, but not all. The issue with cats is with their pupils; one has to catch them staring in dim light so those pupils open up. My 24 year old cat died before I started using good external flash units; so I still would have to practice now with this challenge. I suppose it could be done with one of those zoom cameras that have just a little flash on them, and stepping back but zooming in; that way the flash is far from the cat. What challenge!
The best bet is in good light, no flash. Since the boys are black on top of it all, this is a tricky proposition most times.
Looks as if he was rewarding you by sitting still long enough to get some great pictures, lol.

He’s kind of like Dust Bunny. A very gentle soul, but his look scares people. 🙂
One of Andy’s eyes has a touch of nerve impairment, so it gives him an odd stare if you view him from that side. Poor kitty! (I have a similar problem, with a similar result. Curiously, Dougy has one eye that periodically requires eyedrops, so each of us has one icky eye!
I have a cat like that and have to give eye drops.
Dougy’s veterinarian has me mix Lysine with their wet food to help build resistance. It does seem to help Dougy, and Andy (the more delicate of the two) seems more robust for it, too.
I add the same to their food and I know it makes a difference. 🙂

About a year for me as it was a new product here in Canada. I was kind of a test study on the stuff. Now I buy it in bulk on Ebay. 🙂
The brand I use is made in Canada, actually. It is expensive, but much cheaper than eyedrops and poor Dougy having to suffer.
Is there a manufacturer on it. Maybe I can get it here cheaper. 🙂

The brand name is Enisul-F L-Lysine HCI Nutritionl Supplement for cats
I get the paste in a pump container, and it is pricey. I had less luck trying to get them to eat the tablets, which I eventually had to crush in a mortar, then mix with their wet food. The paste mixes in better with the wet food, and the boys don’t reject it like they did the food with the pulverized tablets. I suspect the grainy texture was off-putting, whereas the paste blends perfectly in the wet food.
Ok that’s the gel right? That I can buy here but it’s expensive, I can get the powdered form for about 30% less FROM THE USA! isn’t that crazy. I’ll have to send them an email! 😉
Yes, it’s the gel, and it’s about US$27 and some small change for a small canister of the stuff that lasts roughly a month. I haven’t found any better price, once shipping and handling are added in, so just continue to buy it from the boys’ veterinarian.
Ya that’s what I pay for it here locally if you go on Ebay and search Enisul-F, there are a lot of great deals in the U.S. My problem is a they don’t all ship to Canada.

When sitting on the sofa back he looks really, really well groomed!
They do look pretty good most of the time, thanks to the efforts of their groomers. I brush Dougy since he has really thick fur. Andy doesn’t like to be brushed. His has very little undercoat, so doesn’t need brushing as much. Thanks to good haircuts, they rarely get mats in their hair anymore.
