You never know. I can’t believe the boys both weren’t in the mood to play. Maybe they wanted a different toy. Maybe they were up all night and just wanted to sleep. Maybe they both were upset with me because who knows what? It isn’t always fun and games with kitty cats!

No doubt! I do know the boys have a cat game they play that seems to have rules they understand that makes no sense to me. I mean, they use a cat toy as a signal to the other that the game is on, then the cat toy plays no part in the game, isn’t something they keep away from each other or play with during the game. STrange!
But they wonder why you use the computer for anything other than cat videos

Sounds like Oli on Sunday. I got him to play for 20 seconds before he fell over and napped lol. Nubia on the other hand was all fun and games haha
I think it was the heat. It was in the mid-to-high 30’s (°C) inside early in the morning, and I eventually relented and turned on the air conditioner.
There was this thing on that show Sunday morning about a woman who does a cat circus,I would of called you but……..
I’ve seen a thing called the Moscow Cat Theatre. Maybe that was it…?

I think it was the heat. Once I turned on the air conditioner, they were a lot more lively.
Maybe they were just to hot or just to comfy. Love that beautiful face of Andys in the first photo, and wha a beautiful fluffy tail. Those are two beautiful boys ya have there Doug.
Actually, I think you are exactly right about the heat! It was in the 80s inside at the time, and I eventually turned on the air conditioner.
Yes, my two could be animated to play – for about five to seven minutes each.
The boys were playing a bit, but pooped out fast. LOL!

That’s when they get their afternoon wet food meal, so they will be eager for something!
Your schedule sounds as messed up as mine! Its a nice time to be awake though because everything is so quiet, depending on where live. I love the quiet and secure in the knowledge that no one is going to come pounding upon my door at that hour.
Yes, I am a night owl. I guess my choice of pets is a good match since we have similar wake-eat-sleep patterns. Of course, it helps that I live in a retirement complex and rarely see or hear my neighbors. Presumably, I don’t bother them, either, since I never get complaints about my odd hours.
