Andy and Dougy know all the best spots to keep warm in winter and cool in summer. One spot Andy enjoys all year, though, is the top of the washing machine.

They do have very fine hair. And, yes, it ends up everywhere!

Andy is a sweet little cat, too! As a mother, you know how it is: though you can’t love one child more than another, there are times, yes, there are times you can’t help yourself! When Andy’s being sweet,m he’s my favorite! (Dougy’s my favorite when he’s being goofy. He is a humorous cat!)
I know, you can’t have favorites but it kinda happens in situations!!

I wish! Nights are coolish (50°-65°F/ 10°C to a bit over 18°C), but it’s been in the mid-80s (>29°C) during the days. I have the air conditioner on, something that I rarely use except in deep summer, late July and August.
There’s something about climate change. Our summers in So. FL are getting hotter than the last one, and starting earlier, it seems.
Same here in Western Nebraska…! It feels more like late July or August here right now than June, which used to be the rainiest, coolest month of the season.
Woof! I like to command the spot near the fridge in the winter cause of the warmth coming from the bottom. 😉

Actually, it is secure and high enough that Andy especially likes it unless the drier door is open. He likes sleeping in the drier. (I always check to make sure “nobody” is in it before I use it!)
That is a comfy kitty and look at that yawn.
Next to the top of the blue carrier on the settee, this is Andy’s favorite sleeping spot. He also likes to sleep on the shelf on my computer desk or my PC.
