Andy managed to be “unavailable” yesterday afternoon when it was time for his medicine. I didn’t see him, in fact, until this morning, his escape and evasion plan was so efficacious! Bad kitty!
Today’s another story. Apparently Andy forgot or neglected to notice it’s medicine time again, but today he’s hovering over me while I type this post….!
That’s where I am on Caturday this week. Can’t stick around. Better catch me a kitty and give him his medicine while the kitty is handy. Handy Andy.
I’ll bet he just LOVED you fur that… MOL!😸
You know it…! LOL
MOL 😹
Awww…he sure is cute 😉
He thanks you! (And he knows he is…!)
That extra sense is what keeps them alive in dangerous passages.
Makes sense!
They are smart and wise. Most of them.
Survival of the fittest!
It’s always the same with cats and medicine. Nubia is just as elusive when it’s time for her mouthwash medicine. She has big gum problems and we don’t want her to loose her teeths ;(
I never know from day to day how it will go. Yesterday, all I had to do was reach down and pick him up off the seat of the recliner. Today, he might go into hiding or put up a fight. I picked fresh grass for him, so maybe he’ll be grateful and cooperative. Ha!
Haha. Sounds a lot like Nubia. She too loves fresh grass. 🙂
Andy and Louie the ginger cat both love/loved fresh grass. Dougy doesn’t seem that interested except for its play value.
Lol. Oliver hates grass. He always look at Nubia as if to say “you do realise you are not a cow” when she eats it haha
LOL! Dougy is such a chow hound, I’m surprised he doesn’t get into grass, too. I think Andy’s stomach has always been a bit delicate since kittenhood.,
Luckily both of mine seem to have a good stomach. Even if stealing food they ain’t meant to have LOL
Mine don’t get human food, though both think it would be a good idea if I’d at least offer it to them so they could decide for themselves if it was suitable for kitties! Andy always hangs out with me when I’m fixing food even though I never give him anything but kitty food and kitty treats. Dougy is less interested in what I’m eating, though he will try to steal interesting food off my plate if I don’t watch him. I’m glad he mostly isn’t interested in human food, though!
Mostly they decided that human food smells awful but for some reason spicy food draws their attention. Last time I missed Oli snatching Chinese chicken he had “fun” running around the flat attempting to get away from the spice… Did he learn from that? Nope lol
My cats love the smell of analgesic balms, and get very interested in me if i rub some on my sore knees!
It never stops to amaze me what they do and don’t like lol
Isn’t that the truth?
True lol
😐
Problems of being cat parent haha 😉
They do have a sixth sense about medicine time, don’t they? I find that I’m always trying to outwit them! Too many times they do that to me!!! 🙂
I managed to catch Andy without a hassle tonight. He took his medicine without a single whine, and he barely clawed me after. Ha! Yes, they do seem to pick up on things like medicine time….!
Lucky you!!!
One never knows. Then the next day might be an ordeal lasting a hour. You just never know.
QUICK! Grab him! 😉
I did, and the dosage was administered all within a couple minutes, start to finish.
Good job. 😉
We’ll see how today goes. So far I did manage to pick him up and cuddle him after he had an unfortunate hairball accident — on the carpet of course.
Of course. 😀
