Dougy had lots of fun playing in the boxes yesterday. Unfortunately got him, Andy saw him and decided he wanted fun, too!
Andy makes his plan.
Dougy shall go!
Silly Dougy! Doesn’t he know better than to leave his boxes unguarded?
Andy made his move and he’s entrenched inside the prize!
“Hee! Hee! All the fun is all mine all the time!” Andy chortles.
He peeps out the hole, waiting for the Neko wand toy to come his way. He tries to enlarge the hole by chewing the edges.
Dougy holds out hope of recovering his prized boxes….
Andy holds steady. It’s his fort now! Mwahahahaha!
Dougy surrenders and Andy has his day in the sun! That was easier than he thought.
No use whining about it Dougy! Andy took it fair and square.
Sort of..!

Now I have a lot of boxes like those, but it’s not the cat playing in them, it’s my girls. They keep wanting me to cut doors and windows and connect “box tunnels” as we unpack from our move. I spend more time on that than the actual unpacking.
I can imagine this because I loved playing in boxes when I was a kid, too! Cats shouldn’t have all the fun.
I think that the one who gets more fun with Andy and Dougy, this is you!!!! 🙂
In friendship
Michel
I do get lots of fun watching them and playing with them, Michel! Cats are amazing little animals.
Is this ” box” season? Rusty, Romeo and Patches have also been busy with boxes lately. We’re glad Andy and Dougy have had fun with theirs!! 🙂
It must be. Both Andy and Dougy took turns in the boxes again today. They go for days ignoring the boxes, then, all of a sudden, the boxes become great play places.
Andy looks so naughty! I love it.
…and he’s the “nice” kitty brother!
I am sure Dougy will get it back soon enough. 🙂
That he did. Andy made his point, which was “if I want to, I can take your cat cave.” Having taken the boxes over for a time, he was satisfied to return to his favorite perch on the lamp stand.
Another day another box …
LOL! And how! Andy generally is the nicer of the two, so it surprised me when he took the box away from Dougy.
Wow…no blood was shed in the making of this wee story. The last picture is awesome! I’m guessing its Dougy…from that satisfied look on his face.
(((Shoko)))
Yeah, that’s Dougy! (Usually, any photo of a cat with closed eyes will be Dougy.)
hahaha…He’s got your number like Shoko’s got mine! Kali poses, oh so pretty and Shoko turns her head away or closes her eyes. I sent some pictures in for a calendar page and it was hard to get one with 1/ Kali awake and actually sitting up….peeps would wonder if she had legs. 2/ Getting Shoko to open her eyes….I even made noises like a bird to get her attention and had to settle for half open eyes. At this rate we’ll be lucky to get an honourable mention.
I feel your pain! LOL! I guess I do feel a bit better since I often admire the photos on your blog for their interest and quality.
Thanks, for the kind words. Peeps never say so it feels good.
My pleasure! Literally! You have a great blog.
Wow! Thank you so much. This makes me feel so good. You know I enjoy your blog and love to know that there are cats out there that are as stubborn as mine.
We are, as they say, all in this together! 🙂 I take some comfort knowing I’m not the only one with crazy cats, too!
Andy has turned into a big bully – I hope you gave my Dougy an extra scratch or treat to ease his loss. 😉
It’s the quiet ones you have to watch, according to an old girlfriend…! LOL!
