I stumbled across this photo of Dougy from 2013 while piddling through my photo files today. I found it charming and think it’s worth a replay!

Purrrrfect face!: 😺😸😹😽
Wishing you and the cats a great weekend ahead! … Best to you. Aquileana 😉
Thanks! We are doing a very relaxed weekend. I didn’t even turn on my computer yesterday. I almost didn’t today, then I tried to imagine how many e-mails would be waiting for me tomorrow if I left it off for two straight days…. EEK!
If a person plays their cards right, the kitties will often return the favor of a nose rub but you have to get down to their level so they can do it.
When the boys get on their cat tree, I often bump heads with them, kitty style! (They seem to like it when I do this.)
This is so sweet and just look at that face that makes all hearts smile.
Both my “boys” loved to have their noses scritched! The fun of it is they love it so much they drool. LOL!
😻 Oh my kats! I’m in LOVE!
Dougy at his sweetest!
I’ll say! 😻*sighs*
🙂
He is a lovely kat!
Thanks! I’ll take credit though it is all due to good breeding and the right parents. LOL! I never met the boy’s father, but their mother was a sweet reddish-brown tabby-marked Persian. I met their step sister and auntie, beautiful Birmans with really sweet dispositions I recognized as characteristic of the boys’ personalities, too.
Well you did A GREAT job! They ‘re pawsome!
Thanks! One does what one can and hopes it’s adequate enough. I admire greatly people who take lovely portrait-quality photos of their pets because I know they have to really work hard at it!
Oh yes they do – it also shows that they actually pay attention to their pets!
(I confess: I talk with my boys, in cattinese! MOL!)
MOL!😸 So does the human. I love her – she understands me!
We do all the kittenish things: head bumps, kitten talk, body rubs, snooping in everyone’s business….!
Why of course! The signs of a respectable kat!!😸
Oh, and longggggg body stretches to unkink the muscles after a long day of snoozing…..!
Oh yes. We wouldn’t want sore muscles!!😹
I think it helps move hairballs, too, though that’s just a wild theory….!
Purrobably!
>hack~hack~!<
MOL!😸
That is a sweet photo and it is new to me because I wasn’t reading any blogs back then ( I had no idea what I was missing).
It occurred to me that most of the people currently reading my blogs are relatively new to it. I had about 400 new follows in the past year, so there are many older photos of the boys that are new to most people. I plan on reposting these from time to time, especially when I run short of time or ambition to take new material. (LOL!)
Ahhh, the bliss of a good human who knows just where to gently rub.
You know kiotties: if the human can’t figure it out on his own, the cat gently guides the human to the appropriate scritching spots. In short order, the human is well trained and the kitty doesn’t have top waste any more time waiting for appropriate touching!
LOL! How true. You can just imagine cats discussing their owners and how intelligent (or not) we are!
Scary thought there….!
and thanks for your kind comment.
I presume you refer to the one I recently left on your blog, which I find to be a charming, informative, fun, and, well, very French place to visit! As you know, I have great fondness for France and wish I could visit Amiens, a place you show to be as lovely and historic as can be! I hope people reading this comment take a little time to find your blog and see what I mean.
Visibly, Dougy enjoys the nose rub ! 🙂 And what about the tummy rub ? 🙂
In friendship
Michel
Yes, tummy rubs are welcome, too, but I think they both prefer the nose rub more because they, as Persian cats, have a hard time scratching the little spot right between the eyes.
