I enjoyed reading about your experience getting a job by “dumbing down”. I definitely could relate to that experience, though I didn’t have to go to that extreme to get hired. Of course, once hired, I sometimes felt a need to not be obviously too clever….! Eventually, once I was a known quantity, though, I was less reluctant to let my light out from under the basket.
You can see reddening in his ears under certain circumstances. I think it may be related to his blood pressure issues….! But they do go reddish where you can see the skin!
Most days, GP! Of course, they regularly surprise me with new behaviors so I don’t get too smug. (Andy, incidentally, managed to avoid getting his medicine yesterday by changing his routine just enough so he wasn’t where I expected him to be when I planned to give it to him. Sneaky little poop!)
I need to put up more videos of Patches. She is really quite a sweetie, but never gets enough press. Within the past year she has developed a new trick of walking (jumping) up and gently putting her paw on my arm or face – almost as if petting me – when she wants attention. She is also quite “chatty” if I the meow back too her. I wish I could get it on video.
such a sweet face.
He’s a cutey all right!
Hi, Just posted a response to your “About” http://wp.me/p6GUru-26

Andy says to tell you “thanks!”
That face is just too cute!!
Andy is a sweetheart, all right!
I don’t know who doesn’t like a good rub
Thank you for visiting
As always Sheldon
LOL! How true! I give him shoulder massages after I give him his medicine, and that goes over well, too.
Oh he’s so handsome!!😻
Andy would blush if he could. Well, his ears turn pinkish when he’s embarrassed, so I guess he can! LOL!
MOL!😸 Now that I’d LOVE to see!

How funny!!
If he gets excited, they get reddish, too.
MOL! Silly boy!
It makes picking up on his mood easy….!
I’ll bet!
=(^+^)=
*Trills*
Aww, he didn’t come by so much for the scratch – he saw you with the camera and wanted to ham it up!
Could be! Dougy runs the other way when he sees the camera, but Andy does seem to gravitate toward it.
Do I know my buddies, or what!!

As do mine 🙂
Aw! I bet they do! Yours are such beauties, too, with their long hair and beautiful markings!

Keep trying! It sounds really sweet! Andy does a petting thing, too, when he wants my attention. I hope you get Patches’ behavior on video!
