Andy has always used the light stand by my glide rocker as a perch. I think there may be a couple reasons: heat from the three-way lamp, and safety by proximity to me.
That doesn’t prevent a Dougy incursion, however, and Dougy brazenly takes over Andy’s spot this morning.
Andy loves his perch!
“Hark! What’s this!?”
Andy suspects trouble’s afoot or at least on four paws…!
Here comes trouble!
Dougy doesn’t want the light stand perch so much as he doesn’t want Andy to have it!
“Boo on you, Andrew!”
Doug tries to discourage Dougy by putting his coffee on the light stand. Dougy snorts in the coffee….
“Curses! All I did was let Dougy get cat sniff-snot in my coffee!”
A failed plan and Dougy takes over the prize!
Here he is, the little kitty prince!
Dougy is very pleased with himself!
Extremely very pleased!
“Take that Andrew!”
Andy, in the meantime, decided to take a snack or two and start his nap in another favorite place.

Hello Weggieboy! I have nominated you for the interview challenge. It’s exciting. Find details at yoursuccessinspirer.com/2015/10/07/interview-challenge/.
I do this blog for the fun of it, and this sort of thing takes it into a zone I avoid. Thank you for thinking of me in this positive way, however!
Thank you very much. It’s very okay . I have had to decline some myself. Have a nice day.
Thank you for your understanding!
I love the second picture!
It is a decent photo of Andy. He’s a sweet little kitty, if a bit shy. Andy says “thank you”!
Dougy and Andy are so cute.
…little angels…LOL!
Good for you Dougy 🙂
(For being a naughty brother…!?)
Haha that picture wheres he’s on the move!
They keep each other on their toes….!
Love the close up of Dougy in the last photo here. What a handsome fellow and not to take away from his maleness but also what a beautiful boy.
They are pretty cats, and very soft to the tough, too! I think they must have some Angora genes somewhere. (Dougy says “thanks!”)
Dougy seems to be developing a stronger personality!
They go back and forth. Dougy has been very affectionate and talkative lately. I don’t know what significance, if any, there is to that, but it manifests itself as self-confidence when dealing with his brother. Andy on the other hand has let he hold him more than before, and when I do, he leans into my shoulder. I think he feels safer and comforted when he does this. That’s a major change if it lasts because he used to be a bit wary of me since i am the guy who gives medicine and baths to kitties….!
