Following the horrific news out of Paris, it is good to see our kind also is capable of beauty and joy. I want to dedicate this to the poor souls who died pointlessly, terribly in Paris. Words are beyond me just now.

Thanks for the xylophone and the comment about Paris. I reblogged it too.
I’ve been concerned about my friend in Paris, though I’m reasonably sure he wouldn’t have been in any of the venues where the attacks occurred.
I haven’t wanted to write anything for a day or so. Thank you for letting me use your post.
I used Michael Bradley’s post for the same reason. I’ve tried not to obsess about the events, part of why Bach seemed appropriate today. His music always feels close to God, prayerful, pious yet joyful.
This is amazing.
A lot of time and thought went into making it. I agree: amazing!
I saw this one where they did an iPhone thing that were dominoes
It was really cool
But then they said it was all done by computer graphics
It’s suppose to be on YouTube but I haven’t looked
I’ve seen a dominoes one, but I don’t recall if it had a connection with an i-phone commercial. Regardless, those domino displays can get very elaborate and entertaining! I can’t imagine the patience and thought that goes into them.
Thank you for the cantata 147 de JS Bach.
Bach helps me clear my head when I have complex and contradictory feelings.
After the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 2001, I remember telling my father I almost felt the best response would be to turn the entire Middle East into radioactive glass. He said, “Then we wouldn’t be any better than the terrorists.” Revenge is a hard emotion to control, and the Iraq war shows how well that can go….!.
Heartbreaking.
Yes, an unimaginable tragedy. It’s hard to imagine the hate or ideology or religion that guided the people who committed such crimes against humanity.
Who can explain me how any ideology or religion make people commit crimes. I just don’t get it. People are supposed to know good from evil. I’d rather understand a tribe man who killed a foreigner and ate him, than these murderers of innocent people. What religion would make me kill anybody if I am not a killer in my heart. Oh well, this religion should be banned to protect their own people of getting poisoned.
It defies understanding. That is part of what makes the behavior so terroristic.
That’s true. Darkness, chaos.
