It looks like we might be ready to post the first part of the Benji story tomorrow. Anarette sent me a few new photos (really cute!) and I’ll marry them to the text already done.
In the meantime, what does Benji the pup really love doing? Well, the chase game for one thing.
Benji’s older doggy companion, Ms. Zulu, is recovering from surgery on her leg, so she can’t join him just yet, but I bet the two of them will have great fun together once she is healed and ready for rigorous fun again. She’s a herding dog, after all!
Switching gears
How refreshing
Yes, big time! Anarette and I did this before and had a fun time of it. It was a way to share our pets with a broader audience, too.
Benji is enjoying the attention; he keeps asking me when we post part II. I had to remind him that for some beings it is not all about play. Luckily he doesn’t pout, so I am still good.
The boys are anxiously waiting for part II, too. Of course, they’ve done this before so they know it inevitably attracts positive attention to them, as it did Ms. Zulu, and now Benji!
It looks like we are ready to post it on Thursday!
A feast for Thanksgiving!
Indeed!
Very cute pup 🙂
Anarette sent some new photos of Benji that’ll melt the hearts of the most cynical reprobates! I included them in the post for tomorrow: They are great fun!
Benji says wwthank wwou!
Wait till you see how cute he is in today’s post!
The cat crew sends their best to Mrs. Zulu for a speedy recovery, and a big hello to Benji, Andy and Dougy!
I totally agree! Poor Ms. Zulu must be going nuts, wanting to join Beji in dog games of chase and other rigorous sports! My boys are content to make their runs at the start and end of the day, with lots of sleep in between.
Ms. Zulu especially hates to miss out on the car rides as she knows these almost always lead to something fun like sailing or canoeing.
I bet! I had a dog like that. He loved, loved, loved car rides! In his case, though, I think it was just the thing of riding in the car more than what was at the end of the ride.
My two felines loved some action tonight at 4, too – I ended the fun by shutting the bedroom door – for 10 minutes – that was all it took for them to calm down. Then they entered civilly.
LOL! I know how that goes! My computer chair is a total wreck because the boys hop on it and scratch to let out that excitement when they are wound up that way..
Only one more day; Benji is very excited about it!
I thought I lost the answers, but finally found the link I needed! Whew! I tell you, computers are a great tool…except when they aren’t! Anyway, I’m working on the interview now. I finally remembered how I copied it from the google file to the WordPress – not hard, if you remember! Of course, you added new photos and text, so that needs to be incorporated between now and then, too. It will be great! I like the new material a lot!
It would not have been a problem to send it again…
I was just about ready to ask for them!
