Andy likes the computer desk shelf. It’s the one he can use to birdwatch out the back window. Even when I’m not on the computer, Andy oftentimes will be on the shelf…sleeping.

He looks like a fluffy rug laying there. That boy needs a good tummy rub.
When he’s sprawled that way, that;’s exactly what my hand wants to do! If he is sleepy enough, my hand survives. If he is awake and in waiting….! Mrow! Bloody stump city!

Whatever it is, they don’t take long to grow hair back. What I found funny about this pose was how Andy was propping himself up with one foot. Sleeping on his back is his thing. Even I have a hard time telling where the cat is in that photo, though, and I was there when I took it! LOL!
Fur like Andy and Dougy’s would pose a real challenge. No wonder they go to the spa. hehe
They tend to mat in their underarms and behind their ears. As long as their tail hair is, though, it never mats. Weird!
That is odd. If their fur mats, that is rough. I don’t think of those things as Siamese are short haired….except the Flame Points. For some reason their fur is longer, Not as long as a Persian but longer. To make a Flame Point, they must have been crossed with a hairy cat. hehe
Yeah, mats are nasty and uncomfortable for the poor kitty, so it’s a good thing the boys’ groomers andf I have worked out a routine that eliminates the problem!

January 7th is their next spa day, but they grow hair so fast, he (and Dougy) are pretty hairy one month after their last one!
Can you comb them? I combed my FunTom today and he has way shorter hair.
Yes, and Dougy loves it! Andy is less tolerant of it, but apparently behaves for his groomer (if not me).
