Once in a long time, I can catch Dougy in a cooperative mood to be photographed. Today was such a day, so I took as many photos of the little darling as I could before he remembered he doesn’t like being photographed. Some even turned out pretty decent!

I always hated flash myself, I’m on Dougy’s side. Just the same I’m so glad you got these good shots. I can’t choose between the tough guy and the meditating Buddha looks. I guess he’s just always gorgeous.
My favorite is the last one since Dougy is my comedian cat!
He looks so soft and touchable.
He and his brother Andy are just that!
last night, I met the cat I’ll stay with for a week, here in Venice. She’s so lovely, I can hardly wait.

Especially now that the outdoor light is so pathetic, getting a bunch of decent shots is especially difficult. 🙂
I had to tutn all the lights in that end of the living room on to have adequate non-flash light. Even then, if I got in too close or shot with too much backlight, the flash went off. Ultimately, Dougy’s cooperation evaporated after one flash too many!
LOL, and black cats suck up all the light like a black hole in space. 🙂
ANd how! You barely can get details in their pelage without over-PhotoShopping the image.
LOL I have an indoor shoot coming up with a black horse! I’m going to need those follow spotlights they used to spot night fighters. 😉
