I still feel urppy today, if a bit better. This photo of Dougy kind of captures how I feel:
Most disappointing of all: I was invited to a wine tasting at some friends’ housewarming party, and it was the one social event of the season I actually wanted to attend. Life is not fair.
So sorry 😟
Much better today, though!
That’s good news 👍
I wish it had ended a day earlier, but that’s how things go.
Love the face…how many times have I felt just the same way?
Shoko
Me, too!
Still feeling like crap! Hope you get back on your feed bag soon! 😉
I think my stomach has returned to normal now. I haven’t tested it with any food, but the thought of food doesn’t make me gag like it has in recent days.
Oh good. So I can tell you what I had for dinner. 😉
I can handle it! Of course, watchiung television, you see hundreds of food advertisements, so that kind of desensitizes you. I think smelling food would have sent me over the brink, though.
LOL, Oh I remember feeling that ill. 🙂
Ugh! Yeah!
It never fails that way. The one event you really look forward to and that’s when the universe says “Ah, no!”. Do hope you feel better soon.
Isn’t that the truth? It’s like how you get a big tax return for the first time in years, then the car blows a head gasket, on cue! (Or, in my instance this year, I had a big return, but my computer got messed up with a virus and I had to spend a big chunk to straighten out the mess…. Same idea.)
There are tablets out there you could take in advance if this wine testing is so important to you. Prilosec and Losec
It was almost 24 hours ago now. Of course, it would have been nice to go to this fete, but it would have been irresponsible if I had something communicable. It may have been flu (though the symptoms weren’t a perfect match) or a touch of food poisoning from eating a salad. I don’t know.
That’s fur sure. But hey, you got those handsome man -kats!😻
They are a big comfort, too.
Oh yes – that is the truth!😺
Good kitties!
Mol! 😸 Why of course – there’s no other kind!!
Andy’s a good kitty. Dougy is ornery.
Hmm…I think it’s time they meet a darling gray tortie….😻
They handle dogs OK, but I don’t know what they think of other cats. Well, I know they are curious about them, but they haven’t been allowed to mix with the wild ones in our neighborhood!
Dangit. *tail FLAP!*
It makes more sense when I change “fogs” to “dogs”, which I meant originally….! LOL! I don’t think they give a rat’s butt about fog.
MWAHAHAHA!! 😹 Yes – that’s true. I figured you meant “dogs -” that gang auto correct makes me say “fogs” too!
I have to admit though, I not interested in rat’s butts either! MWAHAHAHA!
One does wonder about those fogs, though. I understand they killed people in London in the early 1950s….!
Mol!!😸
So sorry you are ill Doug and sending good vibes that it passes quickly.
I think I’m over whatever it was now, Ruth. At least my stomach doesn’t feel as rebellious as it has the past three or so days!
Feel better soon!
Thanks! I am feeling better now, though I don’t know what my stomach is willing to risk….~
Who said it was suppose to be fair
It down rite sucks
I know I’m a sucker
Ha! How true!
Good to see my favorite Persian brothers again. It will take a while to catch up with everyone. Rick’s mom passed away this week, cat crew and us in attendance. She lived with us. We took care of her over 3 years. She was 94.
I’m sorry to hear that, Lavinia. It never is easy, but especially so when you share your life with someone. I suspect the quality of her end life was that much better, though, for being on your beautiful farm!
I am so sorry to hear this…losing someone close is always a kick in the head but this time of year is worse. Big hugs,
Jean
Exactly. It is a hard time of year for losses.
