Over here, the Kennel Club has bred dogs to such crazy levels that they have actually created animals who can’t breathe properly and who have great problems in many aspects of their lives. It’s good to see that your two little friends have been spared anything of this kind.
It isn’t guaranteed. Though they were bred by a responsible breeder, Persians are known to have certain problems related to the breed. I am aware of them and will keep my eye out for them if they occur. Their pug muzzles, of course, make them more vulnerable to respiratory issues.
I love how our pets know we can be counted on to do the things they really like.
Of course they do! They train us in the first place. LOL!
What joy he enjoys in the scratching.
They both purr when I do this! In fact, they come around to me to get me to do this they like it so much. Andy also likes to have the sides of his face rubbed.

Awww….that is very sweet.
They purr and purr when I do it. Andy sometimes drools while purring, it’s so pleasurable. I don’t recall Dougy drooling, though he definitely purrs!
