Andy and Dougy generally get along great. That isn’t to say these siblings don’t get hissy with each other from time to time, and today was one of those times. The fur did fly!

I often think they should be great little kitty citizens because they are pedigree Persians after all, but the reality is they are little animals when they need be!

They always are, though they’ve been little pills for three days now, of and on.
Ours get into little tiffs now and then. It is usually Lucio playing rough with one of twins or Nano. They avoid him for a bit until he gets sleepy.. 🙂
LOL! The boys have lots of waysto get relief from closeness in the apartment. I probably could rent a smaller place and get along just fine, but i doubt the boys could deal with a smaller place.

LOL! Yes, I know that process very well! Lucky for you you came back in time! Yes, the walker is probably the happiest addition to the apartment in years, short of new boxes.
With even more cats I can understand. It’s like a junior high, click and allegiances change. Since the winter I noticed Cloud getting batted by his mother and going to Simba who happily lets him groom her no end. Hissy fits are no stranger here.

I know but I gave up TV ages ago. Years of catchup on You Tube fills the gap.
That’s the ideal. I had a television go bad one year and decided not to replace it. That actually lasted close to four years before I caved in and bought a new, bigger television because it was on sale for a ridiculously low price.

They’ll be best buddies again before the day’s out. I don’t know what the issue that got them into a fighting mood this morning, but it happened near my walker. Perhaps they both wanted to get on it at the same time and there was a dispute over which cat had priority.
So sorry to hear about the discord. Hope things calm down and you 3 have a pleasant day.
$They are quiet now, and have avoided each other most of the morning. I’m not sure what the issue is. They will be playing with each other before the day’s out, however.
I’m so glad to hear that they don’t hold a grudge, but do wonder what the feud was about… Purrseidon, Sapehera and Mr. M usually get along well – Purr & Saphera will occasionally fight, but it is more play than anything else and I’ve never noticed animosity. Mr. M hides in a box when there is tension – actually he spends a lot of time in boxes, and not just due to tensions… About the only time I’ve noticed that Purr and M didn’t agree was when we had that displaced cat for the weekend – M thought he was great, but Purrseidon took an instant dislike … I didn’t realize that Saphera didn’t like that cat, until is was gone and she perked up…
They may have been in competition for my walker, as best I can tell.

Not really. The only thing that works is total acceptance of the territorial claims each makes. Mostly they accept these claims or honor them, when the other is around. The recliner is a big one for both cats, though the recliner also is big enough and has enough wonderful spots to recline that both can be on it at the same time without too much bickering.

Some people don’t understand why I leave empty boxes here and there … I suspect you do 😉
Not only do I, I do! LOL! My house is a mess of empty boxers., Occasionally I’ll scrap some out, but there are some that have been cluttering the frontroom for a couple years or longer because Dougy especially likes them. Andy has his favorite box, too, and I can catch him easily for medicine or grooming if I find him on top of that box because he thinks he’s safe there!
Prior to recycling any empty box, I need to verify that it is truly empty … have almost tossed out Mr. M a couple times…
LOL! I understand how that goes! Likewise, when driving, I’d never run into or over a box on the street because it could contain a kitty.
