Andy and Dougy generally get along fine. There are kitty rules, though, that mustn’t be broken! Andy should know better. Of course, he might want to get a reaction from Dougy, too. It’s the quiet ones you have to watch!
La! La! La! Dougy rests on his ottoman!
Life is good!
Oh the perfidy!
Andy dares to walk by Dougy’s ottoman!
Andy just wanted to hop on the recliner.
The boys share the recliner…sort of!
Andy changes positions to another favorite spot on the recliner.
Dougy shifts to a hiding spot behind the recliner.
Andy’s looking the other way.
Andy suspects trouble is afoot…his kitty sense tingles!
Ah ha! Dougy makes his move, but Andy is ready!
(The photographer, on the other hand, didn’t guess Dougy’s plan, as the fuzzy result proves!

You have lovely cats
Thank you! They are a joy to have!
I find myself being outmanoevered quite often trying to keep up with mine. Andy and Dougy seem to have it worked out like those primitive tribes that made a big show but knew a real war would do them all in.
There is that about their kitty wars…!
Haha such a familiar scene. XD
The blessing of two or more cats, eh?!
Indeed haha. But when isn’t it the same with human siblings? 😉
Very true! I know it was that way with my siblings and me!
And it is with me and my sister lol
LOL!
They are so funny. Ali has found a new spot to sleep on top of time dresser and in his sweats.
LOL! They will have their special spots, eh?!
That was a good move Dougy. Was the next photo Dougy sleeping in the chair?
No, Andy continued to roost there, and Dougy ran into the bathroom to sleep on the cool floor
MOL The strike begins and the fight is on. We get like this occasionally over where we lay on the bed. Some nights I want to be closer to mom and some nights Kali does. As we can’t both sleep in the same spot, a disagreement pursues. With us, Kali’s fur starts to fly. I’ll bet the boys loose lots of black fur during these encounters.
Shoko
I do find tufts of it scattered around the house….! (I pick it up, though, because Dougy eats this hair, and you know what that makes….! Ugh!)
The boys look to be in good form, Doug! I trust they are taking good care of you, and keeping you laughing!
And how!
Is this a seasonal thing? Purrseidon & Mr. M have been pushing limits of respecting property rights, too.
I wonder! It seems like the boys have been wound up more than usual lately.
Purr & M used to get on just fine … granted, like any typical kitten, Purr always wanted to play, but M would just ignore her. WELL, the past couple weeks have been totally different and neither of them are acting like themselves. Purr has been staying inside a lot, but the bizarre thing is that M, who didn’t want to go outdoors for months, was taken up a spot on the porch.
Andy and Dougy have been wrestling each other off and on for a couple weeks. Sometimes there is a hunk of cat fur left on the floor to let me know one of the cats got serious!
Dare we speculate that this has something to do with planetary alignment or something astrological?!?
Hard to say!
You will never be bored with those two. Two cats instead of one. Maybe I should try that. Keep them at home. Gosh I miss George.
Twice as much in the litter boxes, too! LOL!
Yes, well. I have read stories that cats can be taught to use the toilet.
That is something you can see on YouTube. Problem is, though, some get interested in the toilet paper or like to flush the toilet over and over!
I could do this, too, with my two – one cat using the litter tray, the other crouching flat in the “hall” before the room wherein are the litter trays. Relieved cat comes out, flat cat jumps up in a fake attack, relieved cat runs into the bed room and jumps up on bed, other cat follows, but does not dare to jump onto the bed, makes way under the bed, comes up the other side – wins.
LOL! I recognize the maneuver! I can’t imagine living with just one cat again, two being much more entertaining!
Try 9 cats…the entertainment factor goes way up!
Oh dear! I suspect that would be overload for me!
Who won that little tiff?
It was a draw, GP. Dougy made his point, and Andy stood his ground. No territory changed paws, no kitty was harmed, and both kitties went on to other business.
