Ick! He sure did! A big, fat, juicy spider!
Andy fantasizes about what he’d do to that big, fat , juicy spider if it showed up inside!
The boys agree: “Most satisfying, Andy! Thanks for the heads up!”
Back to spider watching.
Snoops and Kommando Kitty prefer moths. Much more fun to chase and they crunch when eaten. (We live in an old farmhouse and it is far from airtight)
I think moths are a big hit here, too, though I think they are more into crickets or grasshoppers for pretty much the same reason: LOTS OF ACTION!
I bet that spider was glad he was outside, and not inside with Andy and Dougy!
It left when I tried to get a better close up through the screen…. I was enough of a threat, I guess, when I moved closer to the window.
That is a big spider, I thought it was a tree frog.
It kept the boys interested for quite a time!
hahaha…this is about how it goes here too. Slight difference. Kali likes to watch the bugs but gets uopset if they come close to her. Shoko takes an active part and flips the bug over, pulls the bug off whatever he’s climbing on. Neither trys to bug the bug just like yours.
It’s one time the kitty brothers are quiet and working together.

Your post reminded me of a funny incident. My old roommate’s cat, a Bengal named Shinki, loved to hunt spiders. One day I saw him in a corner sitting still and looking up. When I got closer I saw a microscpic spider lowering itself down. Shinki waited and slowly opened his mouth and the poor spider lowered itself right in. Snap and it was gone!
LOL! Love the story, Angela! Same with the kitty boys. They prey on anything that moves, which is nice when it’s a spider that came inside. I am glad, too, when they attack a miller or cricket that strayed inside. Or fly, especially a fly!
I remember when George used to look at things I could not see. Kind of creepy at times.
Yeah, I know the situation well! Just the other day, the boys were staring at something. I didn’t see it, bit it eventually came into focus when the smallest flying insect I’ve ever seen (a gnat?) flew away when one of the cats attempted to eat it1
