One never knows how the day will begin. I gave Andy his medicine, for example, and his usual response is to disappear for the next few hours, for fear I’ll give him more! Today, however, he was Mr. Happy Cat and couldn’t seem to get enough of me.
Andy woke up in a happy mood.
He took a little time to clean up, then ran off for a little snack. I caught him , then gave him his medicine. Usually, he hides from me for a few hours after that. Not today!
Today, Andy came over and stretched out on the recliner arm, where I pet him, scratched his head, finger massaged his back, rubbed his nose and whiskers. Happy times for Andy! He stayed around for several minutes, a rare treat for me.
Dougy was his usual Mr. Mellow Kitty, hogging his ottoman from my feet.
Oh well! Dougy was pleased Andy tied me up because he was enjoying “his” ottoman so much!
I hope your Caturday is perfect, too!
They look beautiful, Doug. That one of Andy in a happy mood is great! Hope you don’t have any more uploading problems.
I wasted four hours getting today’s up. I think I may have made a break through, but I won’t know till I convince myself I want to risk finding out I haven’t actually.
Sounds like a nice day.
It quickly went downhill for a few hours while I worked through the uploading issue. Fortunately, the kitty boys quickly brought me back to a happy mood once I turned off the computer and paid attention to them.
You needed some happy time. I was trying to record off the radio to my laptop and discovered my new Dell does not have that setting. It did record but it also recorded the noise in the room, which was lots of meowing by Milk. At least I now have a recording of her. A silver lining on this glitch.
Let’s see here on out if Andy is finally getting used to his medicine. I love the contented look on Dougy’s face!!
I think Andy will never be happy with the medicine. It has to be keep refrigerated, so he gets a little blast of cold to cool liquid, depending on how long it takes to catch and give it to him…. I’d give it to him after it warmed to room temperature, but I don’t want to fill the syringe until I know I have the little rascal where I can give him the dose. There are days he manages to evade capture! Anyway, Dougy says thanks! (I liked that photo, too! The longer their hair gets, the more the smoke Persian qualities come out in their fur – notice how =the ruff is starting to show silver on the tips. Dougy has a bigger ruff than Andy, so he looks much more characteristuic of smoke Persians at this point.))
Andy was in a good mood. I wonder if its that simple that they wake up in a bad or persnickety mood. Some mornings neither of these 2 will have any more than a couple of bites of their wet food. Today they both just couldn’t be filled up. Nothing different, just their attitude.

LOL! Yep!
