Andy’s on the prowl today. What is it he spots? What piques his curiosity?
Hmmm. Andy seems preoccupied with prey!
Has he spotted a spider? An ant? Or what?!
He spots me spotting him, and he hops on the recliner for the moment. (Sorry for the one icky flash eye…one tries to avoid this!)
I ate breakfast in front of the TV today so I could watch early news. Nothing here for kitties, Andy! Silly cat.

They always have to inspect the human’s bowls too, don’t they? Might be better tucker in there, they say!
Again, very true! I wash dishes by hand since I don’t have a dish washer. Just being in the kitchen, both kitties assume what I’m doing is related to food. Since what I am doing must be related to food, they, of course, assume they can beg and get some of “it”! Today, they had conniption fits wanting to have a candy I had in my hand. I doubt a Werther’s soft caramel would be agreeable to a kitty, but I know the boys would still want to sniff it so I wouldn’t want it either.
Andy thinks ; ” what is good for human is good for feline 🙂

His philosophy of life (and Dougy’s): Whatever it is, it’s MINE!
(How’s your garden doing?)
Don’t dogs do the same thing, and look at things which, for us, are just not there?
Yes, they do! That’s the curse, I guess, of having acute hearing and sight.
Poor kitty, you could have saved a bite of your breakfast 🙂
I seriously doubt he’d like oatmeal with blueberries and toast with peanut butter and honey, though he is known to lap up butter is there is some on the plate. (Which I don’t approve of since I try not to let the boys have human food.)
I hope we come back as contented cats.
It seems a good life!
I don’t doubt they see things we can’t see. I’ve seen it often.
They do have different capabilities for sight, and their acute hearing probably factors into it, too. Just the same, it is spooky when they stop everything, become alert to something we can’t discern!
Good fellows watching over you. Whether or not you see them.
I agree with that!
😀
They are excellent at pointing out the invading hordes but if food shows up…who care about bug patrol and off they go to chow down. haha

LOL! They are not foolish after all!
Cats are very curious and also have patience, they stare at something we don’t see, for a long time not moving at all.
Sometimes it’s like they see the dead or something equally spooky! LOL! Usually, it’s a small insect or spider in this house. I appreciate their pest control, however.
My two just watch and are happy to share the wardrobe with the moths 🙁
Mine decided they want to spend time in a bathroom storage cabinet….! Cats! They never cease to amaze me. If you have moths in the wardrobe, I’m sure your cats are really content!
