It is cool today so the kitty boys are enjoying their naps a bit more.
“Meeee-YOW!” my petulant pet said. “OK Andy! OK!”

You know there is a lot of warm in the lights. I noticed this when it was hot. So I turned off all the lights and had to feel my way around. Hubby thought I was crazy. haha
After he had his medicine, he (and Dougy) had a kitty treat, then breakfast first, then it was time for a little grooming session to clean those whiskers. After that, they both took naps.
Our temps were suppossed to go down but didn’t. Of course as I complain about the heat now in a few months I’ll be complaing about the cold. It’s hard to cool off when you wear a fur coat, the cat’s prefer cold.
And how, GP! And they can sleep in some of the most impossible places. Andy likes to drape himself over spots smaller than I’d think he’d seek out. Dougy is more practical, sleeping on his ottoman or curled in a cat tree.
Isn’t that the truth!? Andy always gets into these contorted positions. Dougy cleverly claimed the ottoman, so can sleep on a platform that he can get 100% of himself on with no effort.

Makes sense to me!I’m sure that’s why he likes to sleep on the end table, though he hangs over the edge: the light generates a lot of heat!
Very cute. The cooler weather is a treat.
And how! I was glad to need a light jacket today.
Andy looks at the situation around and is preparing to jump! 🙂

Which he did, after he took his nap!
Night Night beautiful boy
Shhhhh! Andy’s grumpy if you wake him up! (However, he is really sweet if he wakes up on his own.)
They do have a good amount hair to keep them warm. Why can’t it go both ways?
Good point!
Was that before or after you gave him his medicine 😛

Now I am wondering if it shouldn’t read “After he had had his medicine …”
He had his medicine hours earlier, so probably wasn’t feeling its effects by then. On the other hand, perhaps he was!
Oh, to be our animals.
It would be interesting to be that for a few days, wouldn’t it?

We know we’ll do just that, eh?! I think I prefer Fall and Spring weather most since it is in between the two extremes.
The boys seem to know Mr. Sandman by his first name. 🙂

I am always amazed at the contorted positions our cats can get into when they nap. Or, like Lucio, take up a lot of space!
