Tuesday was haircut day for the kitty boys. They were not amused when I captured them and stuffed them in the carrier. Dougy immediately began his “oh poor me” whine, while Andy just showed signs of being pissed. Apparently they were good boys again at the groomer’s because no one told me never to bring them back again! LOL!
Dougy whines and Andy scowls. The boys do not like the carrier p-art, but they seem to enjoy the spa part.
This is their post haircut photo. They get a teddy bear cut, which keeps some of the Persian appearance. No, they aren’t fat! (Just fuzzy. Really!)
Bliss in Catlandia! Andy cleans his “precious”.

Nice haircuts on the boys, Doug!
Athena, their groomer, always does a fine job, and the kitty boys seem to like her.
Cute haircuts!
I think Andy and Dougy look really cute with their teddy bear haircuts, too!
These beautiful faces look cute with any haircut 🙂 They just love to be pampered.
That they do! I’m bound to think they are cute all the time, of course, but I DO agree with you!!
cute cats. They are propably really happy to be treated like this.
Spoiled rotten, you bet!
Today was haircut day for me too. Amazing coincidence!
I hope you didn’t get a teddy bear cut, too! LOL!
I have my hair cut to zero on the sides and just enough to comb over on the top. But if I had more hair I think the Teddy Bear Cut would be appropriate for me because I used to do something like that back in the 1960s when all the men thought they looked better looking like women with hair down to their shoulders — (Or to the cracks of their (deleted for decency). But today I am far less concerned with looks because if you have seen one old oak tree in a forest you have seen them all. LOL! 😉
How true! I’ve become more that way myself.
They look so good after their Teddy Bear cut. A little whining and scowling is worth it.
Shoko
Thanks! I tend to agree! (Plus their groomers are very nice people!)
They look great! You have the best groomer.
Her name is Athena, and I agree! She does a super job each and every time. Sarah before her was the same: super!
Those teddy bears are cute, I like that style.
Looking very smart.
They always are more active after a haircut. I think they enjoy the freedom!
You can’t expect Dougy not to whine when he’s on his way to get a crew-cut!
Hey! I went through it in the army and now that my hair is thinner, and it’s much easier to manage! Anyway, their hair grows out really fast. it always amazes me how fast.
I love teasing you about the boys!!
LOL! And you are so serious on your own blog! (Which, incidentally, I should hope anyone reading this who is interested in a well-researched and brilliantly presented history of WWII in the Pacific will do…!)
Well thank you very much for the plug, Doug! I’m serious there because it that is what the subject calls for. Not my opinion and not my sense of humor (even the humor on the posts is from the military). Out here, I can be relaxed and I guess I inherited my Dad’s dry sense of humor, so sometimes people misunderstand what I’m getting at.
One thing for certain – you and the boys are great!!
Thanks, GP! I was quite serious, too: You produce a blog well worth checking out!
Thanks again. It is research acquired over the years, but too busy to do anything, on this level, until retirement.
I can appreciate that. That depth of content doesn’t just happen casually!
Thank you – have a wonderful day and give those boys a scratch and treat for me, eh?!!
They thank you in advance!
When I used to try to take cat pictures, all I every got was…..So n So cleans his/her precious. That is Precious Doug. ~~dru~~
Yes, I know the problem! That’s why I worked on PhotoShop to get this special effect. I mean, how many precious shots can the world endure….? LOL!
