The kitty brothers often sniff each other. This time it’s in a nice way. LOL! I didn’t realize cats did “that” – butt sniff… – until I had two of them, but they also sniff each other when the opportunity arises.
“That you, brother?” Dougy seems to say while sniffing Andy below.
“Who’d you expect, you goofy cat?!” says Andy, incredulous that Dougy had to ask.

The boys often sniff each other, for whatever reason. What I like about this photo is you can see that smoke Persian aspect in their fur a bit more than usual. It is less evident until their hair grows out a bit, but never shows a lot since I get them trimmed every two months.]

I’ve had big problems in the past, if one cat gets outside and comes in smelling different the others refuse to recognise him. I’ve had a cat calling for her brother at the window while snubbing the ‘new’ cat trying to respond.
After they’ve been to the groomer, they have a major sniff-fest, trying to decided who the new cat is, I guess!
Oh, the cats, they are funny! When we had two cats they sniffed each others mouth, maybe trying to find out secret treats given only to the other one.
No doubt! (I always try to make sure any treats are distributed in a fair and equal manner. Silly of me, I think, but better that than upset kitties!)

Thanks! They can be very beautiful when brushed down. Of course, that pretty look lasts a short time since they rearrange their hair as soon as possible.
Yep!! 😹 That’s what I do too as soon as the human quits messing up my fur!!
I think I get one day of purrfect fur after they get groomed, then they look like rough kitties, street thugs.
