Yesterday, you learned about Ms. Zulu’s prescription for your well being and being in your best form. Today, I’m showing you how Andy prepares to get to that desired state.
Just because the concept came from a doggy doesn’t mean it lacks credibility! At least, that’s what Andy thinks, and, since he’s a cat, I agree with it, too!
=(^+^)=
What does the N-state look like? Here’s an animation of Andy once he hit it.
Andy feels sleepy…
…it’s written on his face.
How he plans to sleep in this position is anyone’s guess. Gad!
Sleep, blissful sleep….
Getting closer to the N-state…!
Is he there…?
Could be….
Full fetal…. Yep! He’s there! Could call it the ZZZ-state just as well.
Wow! Ms. Zulu is really onto something here! Look at how blissed out our little kitty bud is! Can’t wait to post this on the Internet!
Even though it was developed by a dog, cats have to be the primary users of the method. No one can get as relaxed as a cat. And in so many weird positions.
That is so true! I can’t imagine how they sleep in some positions and are still able to wake up and move without discomfort. Yet, they do.
I just love Andy and Dougy. 😻
They thank you! I do, too. They keep me busy and, of course, are a source of material for this blog!
That is a great series of photographs, Doug! Don’t the cats look so sweet when they are fast asleep? 🙂
And how! Those little whiskers and those poochy faces….!
Gee Andy looks so innocent, when he’s asleep. So does Shoko. When she’s awake she’s looking for some action. Her black face makes her almost look judgemental, especially when her ears go back.
Jean
LOL! Andy has an accusatory look on his face. Dougy has a kind of funny face (humorous funny, not strange).
Cats! I don’t know how people who have none get along in life.
They don’t know what they are missing, eh!?
Doggon right
So sweet, so happy and loving 🙂
Yes! I quite agree with you francefougere!
Pingback: Andy & the N-state… – Life of Benji
The N-state is one of the steps of Zuluism…! (Andy says he’ll accept a nod on the concept, but don’t wink or blink when giving it!)
Reblogged this on Life of Benji and commented:
Exciting news: we found a variant on Zuluism. Andy the cat who is served by Doug the human, shows how he gets to the N-state.
I think it’s item 3 on Ms. Zulu’s list, or No. 4. Personally, the whole concept has to be practiced to get the whole effect!
I think so too, I am still practicing in the S-state…. Benji.
It comes naturally soon enough, Benji!
Zzzzz….
Great photos if it was your phone. I absolutely love “It’s in his face”!!
Yes, they are smart phone photos. It handles low light better than my point-and-shoot Nikon and is easier to download on my computer. Thanks!
Andy has hit the nail on the head for sure. I showed this to Ms. Zulu and she told me that Andy is a natural.
Well, if Ms. Zulu says so…!
Yes, she is very wise! Benji.
It comes with living well and a long life!
Upon closer inspection, this may be the S-state too that Andy is showing. Sound may proof / disproof this hypothesis.
Could be. I think Ms. Zulu gets the last “woof” in this question! Speaking of questions, I’ve set up a separate page on my blog to feature the two sets of interviews our doggies and kitties gave each other. They were such fun to do and read, I decided they should get a separate page that was more easily accessed than by the search feature!
Ms. Zulu reports that the latest research suggests that there might even be a P-state, short for Purring-state. This has not been observed in the canine species yet; only the felines. What a wonderful idea to set up a separate page to feature the interviews! This means that we will have to repost our part of the interview with Ms. Zulu ASAP. That will probably be tomorrow or Wednesday. Keep all paws crossed. Benji.
My link was to my page with her interviews.
Part two no longer links to my page as I took it off. It’s now posted on Benji’s blog.
Corrected now…I hope!
Found the page, it’s looking great. I could not find a comment link yet.
I don’t know if I have one there. I will take a look. It may be the comments have to go on the interviews, which is not as handy.
Update: the interview is now in queue for tomorrow. It’s also announced on my blog, Benji.
I’ll look forward to it1
I reviewed the settings for the interview page, and found I’d not checked the boxes to allow ping backs and comments. It’s now taken care of.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention! I’m sure anyone reading this page will have something to say! As you know, we created four interviews that were very popular features of our blogs, something that’s a lot of fun to read, and, for people with their our cats and dogs, to relate to and comment on!
Wonderful photos!
Thanks! Technically, they have flaws, but I used my smart phone to make them. It is limited in many ways!
so lovely 🙂 I loved all photographs, Thank you dear WB, have a nice day, Love, nia
Andy is so sweet when he sleeps! Sometimes he snores or purrs in his sleep. I enjoyed your Macedonia photos, all I’ve seen so far today! Looks like a lovely place to visit! You have a great day, too, nia!
