Post 1225: Andy can’t wait for Dougy to leave!

We all know how Dougy gets when you intrude on “his” places! Well, Andy has his places, too, but he’s more subtle about how he deals with Dougy’s intrusions.

In this instance, Dougy is on his place on the computer desk but he had to hop through Andy’s place to get there. Believe it, he woke Andy up and Andy is not pleased!

=(^+^)=

Oh no! Andy wants me to intervene! Dougy is oblivious, as he often is, or, maybe he’s just being a little poop toward his brother.113016-andy-looks-to-me-for-support-dougy-is-oblivious-1

Andy taps his foot, figuratively. Dougy surely knows Andy’s unhappy!113016-andy-WAITS-Dougy-hangs-on-2

Tap! Tap! Tap! Maybe Andy will have to get proactive on Dougy’s tail!113016-andys-impatient-dougy-starts-to-look-bored-3

Maybe Dougy’s getting the hint. Or maybe he’s teasing Andy.113016-third-from-last-5

Andy is hopeful. Dougy’s getting ready to jump off the desk!113016-dougy-looks-like-hes-leaving-andy-watches-4

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Andy is in kitty dreamland!113016-dougs-gone-andy-can-sleep

Yes, Dougy jumped!

  1. They wait it out sometimes, trying to decide if the tail or some other part needs to be attacked to get the other to move. Mr. Lucio likes to groom another cat he finds in his window seat. That mean, he will chomp next if they don’t move. Most of the cats will move when he starts cleaning them…. 🙂

    • Thanks! I honed my kitty watching skills watching how they approach birds. In fact, I have hand fed pine siskins by using the stalk-stop-wait-stalk-stop-wait technique cats used to get closer, then right on top of the little taste treats. Only, and this is important, I had shelled sunflower seeds for the birds, whereas the cats had death and mayhem. Ha!

  2. My two furry friends, Sir Winston and Mr Midnight absolutely love your cute furry friends. I must say I´m quite taken back by their beauty (if male cats may have beauty!).
Meow, purr purr and kind regards over at the “Gilmours Nice Place” blog. 🙂

    • I think “pretty” and “beautiful” are allowed. I use them myself since I agree! (I’m biased, of course, but I get to see them daily in real life. My photography isn’t up to capturing just how pretty they are most times.)

Speaking of beautiful, your two are the cat’s meow, too! I’ve always liked black cats a lot and the best cat I ever had was a ginger tabby. (Andy and Dougy are great cats, but they are really spoiled rotten….! LOL!)

Andy and Dougy say to tell Sir Winston and Mr. Midnight “Meow~meow~meow!!!” They are delighted to know other kitties, if by the Internet, since they are indoor cats! (I enjoy the conversations on your blog, incidentally, though I just checked it out. I definitely will keep my eye out for it in future!)
