That recliner’s been a point of contention between Andy and Dougy for at least the past two weeks. It surprised me, then, to witness this tender moment between the brothers. (“Tender” = no fur flying at least!)

Good Andy, letting Dougy sleep! Maybe it was that look Dougy sent him from the recliner seat! 🙂
Could be….!
They know Santa is watching 🙂
You may be right there1
Just when you think you might need you might need to get out the water guns…
Ha! So far, I’ve managed to stop serious fights by either clapping my hands loudly once or sticking my hand on one or the other kitties, breaking the mood.
Hahaha… They REALLY like that recliner don’t they!! 💚
All three of us do! Of course, I’m big enough c an get the part I want easily.
Then they can sit on you! Win-win! 😉
Ha! Ha! Exactly!
One can read their minds from their expressions. Dougy sees Andy staring at him and he prepares for *thee jump* from Andy. Andy figures it’ll take too much effort to jump on Dougy so Dougy goes back into the neutral pose. hehe
They do telegraph their thoughts physically, don’t they? It amazes me how expressive they are.
Maybe it’s us Doug. We are aware of their expressions having meaning and look for them.
That’s a fact! Of course we watch them all the time.
They’d chased each other enough for one day, I guess!
Even in the longer distance shot I could see Dougy’s eyes widen in concern. I hope Andy got complemented for being a good boy.
I wish that we humans could deal with conflicts as the cats do
I don’t know….! Sometimes one of the the other kitty boys loses a mouthful of kitty fur to the other brother….!
Cute photos.
Thanks! The kitty boys are great helpers.
