Post 1248: Dougy tells me…!

When Dougy wants to play, you better be ready! If I’m updating this blog or eating breakfast or headed downtown, it makes no difference to Dougy: “I WANT TO PLAY!!!”

Mostly, I cave in. That’s why he’s such a spoiled brat!

=(^+^)=

Dougy pestered me to play wand toy with him.

Dougy pestered me to play wand toy with him.

Oh oh! Dougy gives me the "Stink Eye Of I Am Mad Because You Didn't Stop Everything And Play With Me When I Was In The Mood".

Oh oh! Dougy gives me the “Stink Eye Of I Am Mad Because You Didn’t Stop Everything And Play With Me When I Was In The Mood” look.

"Aw! Come on, Dougy! I'm sorry!"

“Aw! Come on, Dougy! I’m sorry!” Dougy continues to pout.

Hmmm. I think I got through to Dougy.

Hmmm. I think I got through to Dougy! He’s looking the wand toy over!

Maybe not.

Maybe not.

Oh dear! I guess he told me!

Oh dear! I guess he told me!

Not to worry. As soon as I finished photographing this, Dougy and I had a fun play session! He doesn’t hold grudges!

  1. Doug, I wanted to wish you and the boys a Merry Christmas and wonderful 2017.

I also have a question. Your furniture appears to be leather and I don’t think you declawed the boys, yet I don’t see damage to your chairs. Did you train them to keep their claws retracted or something?

    • There is damage to the recliner, which I bought before I had cats. Though I’m not pleased with the scratches on the chair, I believe that if you can’t tolerate a little chaos in your life, you shouldn’t have kitties. They really destroyed my computer chair, starting on the first day I got it. For some reason., the computer chair seemed more suitable for a scratching post than the recliner.

      • Interesting. I asked because my sister has leather furniture and 3 cats, so she always keeps quilts and blankets on top of her furniture (very odd look, in an otherwise modern room).
        Have a fabulous week!
