Andy and Dougy don’t ask for much, and they give a lot back. BUT, they do expect some things on demand!
=(^+^)=
Dougy hinted broadly what he wanted. “Mrow…. Mrow….”
Gotcha, Douglas! You need a morning “scritch”!
Andy, on the other hand, was in no mood for a good “scritching”.
He turned his back on me. I barely could reach him, then he ran away!
I so relate to that bit of being just at the edge of your reach. That’s Mi Sun all over. She makes demand for petting meows and I can barely touch her but she won’t come closer. Other times she’s literally on top of me and she’s a big cat. Go figure.
Andy’s getting a bit more trusting. There are safe places where he lets me touch him, pet him, scratch him, but there are other places he feels exposes, I suppose, and there is no way he’ll let me touch him!
Nothing like a good morning scritch! Perhaps poor Andy thought his medicine was coming right after the scritch.
Happy Belated Valentine’s Day to you and the boys, Doug, from all the cats and crew here!
Thanks! We spent the day ding as little as possible and not eating unhealthy thing like chocolate! Yeah, that could be Andy’s sense of things.
That face is priceless.
I have to agree! Makes me smile.
There is nothing quite like a cat insult. 🙂
LOL! And how!
Happy Valentine’s Day cuties!
And the same to you!
Hope your day is filled with luv and cuddles. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
That’s pretty much how it was! I hope yours was the same.
Yep, and we’re doin’ more of it tonight.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Have fun!
Hey Doug
I’m trying to pick up the pace
It comes slowly, I know. I hope I’m not missing any of your posts. The new reader format makes it easy to miss old favorites, and I try not to miss any. It s=helps that you use collages to illustrate them, thought it chops them up through the middle. At any rate, take it easy, Sheldon, and don’t rush the healing.
Thanks Doug
But unfortunately I will be starting some new medicine soon
I’m not looking forward to this
Plus my sugar is messed up
It just seems to be one thing after another
It often works that way, I know from experience. Best wishes for a good result with the new medicine, Sheldon.
doodz…..sendin happee heartz day oh lovez two ewe frum all oh uz heer in TT !! ♥♥♥
It goes without saying, the kitty boys and I wish the same to you!
My dad never like cats much because they are so independent but I like that.
Me, too. Of course, Persians like attention…when they want it! LOL!
Mine are most Siam. They can make a real racket. Thing is that it is you just can’t know when they are on a particle day.
That’s one of the sweet characteristics of Siamese kitties, isn’t it? Walt Disney did a pretty good job of slandering the, in “Lady and the Tramp”, much like Persians typically get villain roles in films like “Cats and Dogs”. The sad part is both breeds are such sweet-natured cats.
They are sweet indeed. The ones that are tame all love to be petted.
I personally like them, and they are so handsome, too!
Dougy is such an easy one to please on Valentines day…. wonder what Andy will demand…
well, kitty treats once I subjected him to his dose of heart medicine! That and the hope aI’d leave him alone the rest of the day opr until he decided=s he really, really, really wants his whiskers rubbed !
Typical kitty. M isn’t too pleased about getting meds as well as toys for V-day, either.
LOL! Since it benefits Andy in the long term, he just has to put up with me poking that plastic syringe between his lips and squirting that nasty stuff in his mouth! (I think his resistance is to the fact it has to be refrigerated and is cold.)
Can you warm what is in the syringe?
I squirt a tiny amount in his mouth, then slowly squirt a bit more over and over till it’s all in the kitty. After the first squirt, he doesn’t react as much. I probably could leave the syringe out a little before giving it to Andy, but the longer I hold him, the more he resists because he knows what’s coming! If I fill it, let it warm, then can’t catch Andy, I’d have to discard the medicine. It has happed he’s avoided me all da and gets away without his medicine!
Sounds like he is as good at disappearing as Mr. M.
Some day, yes! Other days I walk over to him and just pick him up. My best luck is if he’s been sleeping and I wake him up.
I can usually find M in a box, but he also has a talent of seeming to be a shadow…
Well, mine pussyfoot a lot, and catch me off guard!
M and Purr are both good a stealth, but Saphera isn’t… Dogs don’t retract their claws, so she clicks across the wood floors.
I don’t have any wood floors, mostly carpeted, so Saphera could sneak up on me quite easily!
That would make her day.
LOL! Hey, she could sneak up on t he kitties, then, to!
That would make her day!
=(^+^)=
He’s so cute! Can I borrow him for Valentine’s?
Come on over….!
