We finally conclude Andy’s fine day. When I left you, there was a surprise coup at the new box.
=(^+^)=
Yes, Andy took the box from Dougy! It happened so fast I couldn’t keep up with it. Dougy ran off to the dining area, but Andy enjoyed the spot he held first, the new box.
Dougy comes back, but Andy doesn’t pay attention to him. He has new attractions to explore!
Dougy, being a naughty kitty, finds something to occupy his time, too. Bad kitty!
In the meantime, Andy returns briefly to the new box, where I give him a good nose rub.
You kidding? Andy hints at what he wants next…
Dougy wanders off to his afternoon nap, but Andy has to do one more thing before he takes his: climb on the table! BAD KITTY! Someone’s watching his naughty brother for suggestions on how to be bad!
I called this Andy’s fine day, but there was lots of fun for Dougy, too. I know you need to know that.
We all need our own boxes in life – I like that!
Exactly: kitty wisdom!
What a fun photo-story. I really needed a pleasant distraction to help remind me of the importance in capturing (and enjoying) my boxes in life.
Glad you got a lesson out of it, Gabe! I’ve often felt we can learn from our furry buddies.
Wow quite a full day for everybody, including the intrepid reporter! This was a fun series. We had a couple of nice days too, now we’re back to below freezing. “Sigh”
We’re back to freezing, too. Thanks for the comment, too. I rarely get so many related photos in a series, and it is nice to be able to use one day’s output over several blogs!
I am glad they both had fun 🙂
I did, too, since it gave me four days of bloggery!
These guys are adorable. I’m surprised you haven’t died from exposure to over-cuteness yet!
I sometimes get light headed from it…! LOL!
Oh what handsome Boys! 😺
Since they were in better light than usual, it shows up much better. I look at them sometimes and thank Ye Gods that I happened to be at the right place at the right time to be given these beautiful little creatures! I’ve never had pedigree pets before Andy and Dougy, yet they are just like mongrels and moggies, just fancier, I guess.
Mol! I’ll say! 😻
Photographing white or black pets is a trick, if the reverse one depending on which you have. In Andy and Doug’s case, they usually are their most active and worth photographing when the little darlings are low light. When I get a time where they are bein cats in good light, go wild photographing them and get four days worth of blogs out of their activities! LOL!
Mol! Yes, well we Kats know that pictures don’t come out good in low light, that’s why we act our cutest after dark (purreferably after the lights go out)! 😹
Absolutely true!
Mol!!😸 Have a pawsome evening!
We did! Thank you!
You’re welcome! Take care of those handsome Boys!😺
Will do!
Glad to hear it!😸
I encourage others to take a look at your blog if they love kitties and babies! Your latest post was a lot of fun with both! Granted you mostly feature kitties, which is sufficient to keep me coming back, but Lily is such a sweet and lovely baby!

Oh!! Thank you! You made my furry little day!!!!😺💖🍼
Hey, anyone who followed my suggestion will understand why I recommended cattitudechronicles.wordpress.com !
Awwww! Thank you!🐭
My pleasure!
*purrs / kneads paws*
such a satisfying
happy ending
for the kitties,
the box and
all involved 🙂
Ultimately, all conflicts of interest or fights between the kitty boys end with both content with what they are and what they have.
Box ownership is a big issue with cats. Glad Dougy found something to entertain himself.
That it is! Even when there are two identical boxes side by side, the kitty boys will want the one the other one is in.
Same with food bowls in our house!
Oh dear! “Sharing” works some days here if both want to get their share of wet food off the one plate. If one doesn’t want to share the plate, there is a risk the other will eat all of the food! I have to supervise that, of course, though I could us two plates. Then, of course, they’d still want to eat off the same plate.
Happy endings for both of them @ I hope you had a good day too.
Yes, it was a great day! The next two days were filled with 22 (official) inches of snow or 56cm.
