Andy and Dougy eat from the same plate most days, but other days they take turns at the plate. Regardless, they always take time to clean up afterwards, then take a rest.
=(^+^)=
Andy ate first today, then sat on the cottonwood slice. “Where to go? Where to go”
Oops! Here comes Dougy! Andy hopes he keeps on moving. Andy moves on while the getting is good!
Andy ends up on the PC, a favorite high perch, and Dougy climbs onto the kitty buggy, which he likes for his high spot. Now they can clean up in peace!
The cottonwood slice has given me an idea of getting a short stump for them to scratch on. No shortage of wood in my area! 🙂
Great idea! I’ve seen photos of a cat tree someone made from actual branches. It looked pretty solid and attractive to boot. The family cats loved it!
Does Andy always stop at the cottonwood slice? This is the first I’m reading about the cottonwood slice.
It was off the floor until recently. Yes, Andy quickly marked it as his! Dougy claimed the new box that’s been in recent posts. (The one Andy was in in the third segment and the top of the fourth….) That helps keep the stress over the cottonwood slice down. It is the new place, too, where I put Andy’s treat for being a good boy after I give him his medicine, so, ironically, instead of putting his hairy little butt on my dining table, he’s putting it on his! LOL! Dougy gets his treats elsewhere so he won’t associate the slice with himself.
LOL that’s great. And as far as the new box, I guess it was just a matter of time…That Dougy!
Yes, Dougy is my box kitty, though Andy is known to make use of them, too. I’m not surprised that Dougy is the prime user since Andy usually prefers ones he can climb on top of.
I think I’m just starting to be able to tell the boys a little bit apart … The color of their eyes is helping me and that’s it so far!
Honestly, if I don’t identify a photo file as being one or the other kitty, thee are times I’m guessing which one it is unless I can see the eyes or recognize the scene as where one or the other typically will be!
the last photo is really funny, the way andy looks at the camera! Kind of ” is it ok inspector? May i sleep now? lol
Yes, they don’t let me sleep past their preferred “kitty food” time, but don’t keep them from sleep…!
hahahaha bad boys. If it is like that then do not stop annoying them 😉
Dougy hops on my bed and drags his tail over my face. If at doesn’t work, he kneads my shoulder, then walks on me. That works!
what a naughty cat….. 🙂 this asks a revenge prank. Maybe try to make a fake sofa or something like that. Kind of, when he falls asleep and is in Dreamland at 80 km per hour, push a button and eject him open your window so he lands at your garden, put another sofa at the place he is supposed to land lol
LOL! I’ll settle for just shaking him awake, but that would be fun!
Beautiful fluffies!
Andy and Dougy tell me to tell you “meow”! Yes, I have to agree, and thank you!
Everybody wants a bit of privacy when it comes to sprucing up!
Give the boys a scritch for me, Doug!
Will do, GP!
You’ve had some really interesting posts lately, though that’s a given any time! I am amazed how you keep interest up and write extensively in your well-researched, generally little known looks at the Pacific War. I can’t encourage people interested in history enough to check your blog out. It is time well spent!
I thank you very much for your high praise, Doug. I hope I can continue to keep your interest!!
You are welcome, GP! I’ve followed you for a long time now, and you’ve never failed to post something of great interest each time, oftentimes totally new information about the Pacific War.
