Some days, it seems nothing I do satisfies Dougy. He whines and scratches on my arm or the chair and expects something from me. “What? What!? WHAT?! Tell me, Dougy!”

Other times, all Dougy wants is a good “scritching”. Yeah! I can do that, Dougley!
I do think they often want us to just acknowledge their presence. Seems there is nothing in particular wanted, but a good scritch always helps. 🙂

Don’t you ever experience the ache of “want” for no apparent reason Doug? I certainly do and I know my catz do. It is not just that they have trouble conveying to us what they want; at times it is merely that they want. Or so has been my experience. BUT for good measure, just keep scritching. ~~dru~~
