Andy is a regular visitor when I sit in the recliner. I suppose he feels safer then from Dougy’s intrusions. When he’s there by himself, Dougy oftentimes shoos him off the recliner. When I’m there, he stays if Dougy comes along.

Actually, I think what he likes is the heat off the lamp and the articulation joint, which makes a perfect place to scratch his chin and jaw!

Reminds me of Maynard (may he RIP). When you didn’t want him in your lap he would get on the back of the recliner and then s l o w l y slide his way down to your lap. Didn’t figure you would catch on if he came in the back way and do it s l o w l y.
LOL! What a sweet remembrance. Andy hasn’t come around to lap kittyhood yet, but I would enjoy it if he and Dougy liked that more than then do, They are good for just a short time before they have kitty business they feel is more important.
