While Andy doesn’t like to be brushed, Dougy responds to nothing more than the brush on his ottoman. He hops up there to get a good brushing! Dougy love, love, loves being brushed!
Sometimes rendering a photo in black and white enhances it. On a sunny day, Andy (on the walker) and Dougy enjoy the open door, with its fresh breeze and the possibility of spotting birds in the fir, apple trees, or the bird bath.
Of course, when I try to take their photo doing these things, they become alert to my presence, turn around, and watch me. “What’s he up to? Getting ready to give us kitty treats?” Could be. Or maybe I just need something for the blog.
A multifunctional walker; can’t beat that!
Yes, the foam cover on the back rest got kitty claw marks on the first day I brought it into the house! Though I don’t need to use it that much these days, it’s still nice to have if I’m somewhere where I might have to wait a long time for something to happen (the pharmacy…, walks in historic outdoor places) or rest. It fits perfectly in the cargo space in my little VW Golf Sportwagen, another plus for that purchase.
Any use that improves the quality of life is good use.
Exactly!
Love the pictures! 😺
Thanks! I didn’t have much to post that time, so appreciate your comment even more!
You’re welcome! Lately by the time I cam make a post, I’m half asleep and can’t think!! Its those creatures!! They sure have a way of wearing a Kat out!! Mol!😹
How true, how true. Sometimes, 18 hours of sleep a day just isn’t enough!
Mol!! 😹
They look very content.
I think they are. I try to give them a reason to get up each day besides kitty food! LOL!
Ah, yes, those pictures on the sly. Lexi was like Andy. She ran if she saw me coming with the comb.
I haven’t given up. I have clumps of hair all over the house,m thanks to Andy. The brush would be more efficient than vacuuming.
Shoko talks to the birds on the lawn. Kali could care less..Talk about different likes and dislikes…..wow. Kali loves to be brushed and purrs like a Ferrari. Shoko hates to be brushed and we have an argument each time I bring out the brush. She usually wins and walks away with her head held high.

Yep! I know the routine! Both my kitty boys talk to the birds, the one difference.
doodz….itz like that heer in TT two, me…tuna…lovez a brushin……cuzin dai$y….two swipes N herz thru !!!! 🙂 ♥♥
It is nice to get all that dead hair out of one’s fur!
For some reason, my reply didn’t “stick”…. Anyway, it’s curious how much variation there is in kitties. I’d think kitties all would enjoy having the loose hair brushed out!
All our cats except Willow like to be brushed. I can brush her teeth (the few that are left) easily, but getting her fur brushed is a difficult task! 🙂 Andy on the walker brings back memories of when Rick’s mother was here. The cats would often sit on her walker during meals and talk to her.
The kitty boys instantly took over the walker the first day I got back home last year from my hospitalization and therapy.
Good company, those cats.
That they are!
brushing time is a super time, I agree ;o) and to watch berd-tv through an open door… and every good tv-show needs snacks&treats :O)
Sounds like the routine alright!
