I put a chair in the bathroom to make it more comfortable ironing shirts. Then I forgot to put it back at the dining room table.
A little black cat decided that was a better place to hang out than under the other chair with things hanging on it over by the washer/dryer.
Cats rule, so the chair is where I forgot it till Andy’s tired of it. It’s a good place to “scritch” Andy without alarming him, anyway!
Then there’s Dougy, under the dining room table in the spot where the chair used to be. He wanted to play the chase game he and Andy invented. He located the colored cloth strip, but Andy was more into roosting and dozing on the chair in the bathroom.
Shows how the 2 boys differ. Andy is willing to experiment with the chair in the new locale while Doug prefers the usual places. The same is true here.

Had a surprise this morning, though. Andy was sleeping on the bathroom floor and Dougy was under the chair that Andy gave up for the dining room chair he recently claimed. Cats!
Cats find all comfortable places.:)

It’s funny when furniture moves, it suddenly becomes prime real estate! Glad you all are staying cool, Doug.
It’s in the way where it is, of course, so I hope Andy finds a better spot or, at least, gets bored with the chair where it is!

Yes, it became a quick favorite of Andy’s. I think he is able to see me coming (to give him his medicine) more easily from that perch. The old favorite had a terrycloth towel to make it more comfortable. “Comfortable” seems different for cats than people, however!

You really need to consult your kitties before you redecorate. I’m sure there will be disappointment when the chair disappears.
I think you are right, Kate! Unfortunately, the chair is in the way where it is, but “Kitties rule, Dougs drool” (I am Doug, in case you are unaware of that, and Dougy is named after me in what is a family in joke.)

I’m doing well, though I am spending as much time in the air conditioned world as possible. The kitty boys took over a long time ago! LOL!
that’s a good idea… Phenny always sits on the toilet lid , he would like a chair in the bathroom …or a sofa ;o)
LOL! I’m sure he’d vote for the sofa, or a nice over-stuffed chair at least. All of us followers with animal masters would never find fault with that!
