Andy still insists on using this chair for kitty business. Good thing I rarely need all of the dining room chairs because I think Andy’s not giving this one up.
It isn’t clear what Andy likes about the chair other than elevation. Maybe the towel on the back makes him feel more secure, too, since it blocks the view from behind him.
Also, Dougy hasn’t shown an interest in it so far, so there’s still peace at home!
Maybe Andy feels he should be invited to dinner more often. 🙂
Andy’s my chow hound. He invites himself to the kitchen any time I go in there for any reason, and he hassles me for a few kitty treats!

He and Dougy regularly have “debates” about whose chair it is.
As much as I’ve tried, I don’t think like a cat. I understand Kali…she goes after comfort. Shoko….I don’t understand. She is comfortable squished in between the toilet paper or sleeping on the scales. There are hundreds of places that are more comfy. Go figure.

Actually, I did find him in the chair (“The Chair”) a couple days ago. Andy was lounging elsewhere in the room. He’s not as possessive, I guess.
My dining room chairs are either ignored, or targeted for destruction!
Mine aim for the more expensive front room furniture…!
May be Dougy will find another chair, or armchair or your knees 🙂 !

Thank you, Peter! I hit the road of retirement running and haven’t had any regrets. Blogging is a good brain exercise. I could do crosswords or take words and string them together in new ways, seeking new words to better express myself. I think the latter is the better path!
