Andy came from the guest bedroom, but stopped on this play box to survey the scene.
I was on the glider, and he didn’t want to risk taking the easy route to the other end of the apartment for fear I’d catch him. (He hasn’t had his medicine yet!)
He sat there for a long time before he took a run for it!
Don’t worry, Andy! I’ll catch you sooner or later. I always do.
It is amazing how hard they can be to catch indoors when they really don’t want something, or they know they are going to the vet.
That is a fact! Part of the problem is how stealthy cats can be. Another part is how slow I am compared with the kitty boys.
Our cats move a lot faster than me, too! 🙂
Not that difficult in this house! I get around with a cane or walker, depending on circumstances.
Andy looks fierce!
Oddly enough, he is a very sweet-natured kitty, no matter how he looks. I agree he looks like a toughy here!
Andy is a clever boy- good thing you are more clever 🙂
Mpost times…!
glad you’re well & keeping up!
wonderful that you’re
the right speed for each other 🙂
Most times!
Beautiful – and careful ? eyes ! 🙂
Always! Andy is smaller than Dougy, and Dougy sometimes is a bully toward his brother. And I am the human, so have the advantage of size and strategic thinking.
I say use the Cat Nip as bait to lure!
That works well for Andy (dried or fresh), but Dougy is only mildly interested in the dry, but somewhat more enthusiastic about the fresh.
you grow it I assume?
I like growing it because it is easy to grow, but don’t have any growing at the moment. I had some seeds that I can’t find. They may be bad by now anyway, though catnip is pretty hardy. I presume the seeds are, too. I have a row of broken coffee mugs in the window over the kitchen sink. They all have photos of the kitty boys and the late Louie the ginger cat on them. The damage mostly is broken handles or chips. I think it would be fun to grow catnip in these, though the plants can get fairly large. On the other hand, tender little plants probably would produce tender catnip leaves the kitty boys would especially enjoy!
If it affected humans the same way,the Government would ban it!
You know it! I understand it does make a relaxing herbal tea, though I think plain mint probably has a similar pleasant effect and doesn’t have that musky smell and taste of ‘nip.
plus your kitty boys won’t go knocking over anymore cups trying to get at it!
LOL! I hope not!
He looks so beautiful, or should I say handsome, in the second photo.
I think of them as pretty, kitty boy or not! Thanks!
Clearly careful consideration is called for before taking the major step of crossing the room while you are in it.
Andy is the more wary kitty in the house! (Dougy is the most trusting, except when it’s time for a grooming appointment or the veterinarian…)
