Day before the eclipse…
…I ask Andy what he plans to do during the eclipse since many of you have asked about Andy and Dougy’s plans.
Andy wants to know what an eclipse is, so I explain. Don’t be frightened, Andy, it’s just legend that a big jaguar eats it!
Just in case, Andy will take precautionary measures!
Dougy’s plans are simple.
In the meantime, I should be cleaning since I invited a friend to come to town, perhaps stay overnight to avoid the traffic. The kitty boys pretty much claim the guest bedroom until I have guests, and they leave a mess!
haha…MOL Enjoy your guest, Doug. The boys can busy themselves cleaning….although they prefer privacy so you may not witness this event.

Dougy hid under the guest bed when I vacuumed, but Andy was cool about it. Now that things are a bit cleaner and more orderly, I can relax and enjoy the day!

Good grief! I was afraid something like that would happen! I had to go up to the Business plan because I used up all the space on my intermediate plan. Though there is the possibility of earning some money with the most expensive plan, it presumes people click on the advertisements. I think that is highly unlikely! Incidentally, I don’t have control over the advertisements WordPress sticks in.

Love the photos of Andy and Dougy! I wonder what our own kitties might think when it gets dark again for a short time? Or worse yet, the resident skunk who fired off on our porch the other night! I shudder to think… 🙂

I am sure your friend is thankful to have a place to stay and wont mind some kitty fur. I have heard that there is already a lot of traffic in some areas.
For sure! I will enjoy hosting him, too. Now that he is retired, we may be able to get together more often. I’d enjoy that!

The only thing that could stop me is cloud cover!
Our guest bedroom is full of cat barf stains on the carpet and hairballs under the bed. The comforter has a layer of fur. As my cats say, it keeps the traffic down.
Oh dear! Sad to admit, that is pretty much a description of mine! I’d planned on washing the cover since it has a spot of hair cover where Dougy likes to sleep, but the washer chose this precise time to break down. I can do small items in the sink since the dryer still works. I haven’t worked out Plan B.
Hilarious ! I am sure you will protect him from the jaguar if it does turn up. Have the boys left vast quantities of fur in the guest bedroom ? By the way I hope you have a good view of the eclipse after all this excitement.
You know I will! Yes, the carpet is a full shade darker because of kitty hair, I swear! I hope we survive without cloud cover of too many incidents. I suspect most people will have a good time since lots of food and nice things have been planned for them. The city asked that residents be nice to our visitors, and it looks like that’s what’s happening!

Cleaning and straightening out done, food prepared, now all I have to do is wait about five or six hours for the event to begin!
