Dougy slept soundly while Andy sneaked box time in the new box. Ohhhh! Danger time, Andrew! Dougy came soon after. Andy pretended he was there – next to the box – waiting for kitty treats. Good move, Andy! I had to fork over the loot to complete the deception.
Dougy hopped into the new box, of course. In time – thanks to Andy crunching kitty treats next to the new box – Dougy picked up on the fact that he better get it fluffy butt out of the box if he wanted his share.
Dougy looked and looked and walked right over the treats and looked and found the mother lode of kitty treats, but still didn’t figure out the treats were under his feet for the eating! I even pointed them out to him!
Good grief, Dougy! I even tossed a few in the new box. Andy’s going to be “horking” kitty treats if he eats all I’ve put out for two kitties!
Dougy takes the search to the table – over here, Dougy, over here! – then hops over two packages of kitty treats to get to the floor. I hadn’t intended to trick him out of his treats! He did it on his own.
They’re starting to look extra-fluffy. Are they getting ready for winter?
I astonishes me how fast they fluff up after a grooming appointment! I suppose they are getting ready, though the weather’s been very ,mild lately.
The boys are endlessly entertaining!
They are that!
This time we had a full story with several episodes.
Dougy is a persistent researcher! 🙂

It was a serious time – dougy wanted treats but couldn’t find them…! (He was pathetic, Michel, walking right over the thing he was looking for!)
yes ,pathetic is the word for Dougy!
Andy didn’t eat them all up, fortunately.
Mine will work hard at chewing through the bag to get what is inside. Bags seem to be sturdier these days though.
Dougy chewed on the corner of one for a short time. I probably should put them up higher…!
You are both lucky boys, so many bags of treats 🙂
They still are limited to how many they get each day. Though the photos suggest otherwise, I usually put just three or four treats out per kitty boy at a time. The packaging suggests no more than 18 a day per cat is acceptable, though that’s more than the kitty boys typically ghet. Dougy usually eats fewer of them than Andy, for whatever reason.
Will he see it that way later on ? These kitties seem to be pretty sharp on matters of food.
Actually, I think he’d filled up on regular dry food a short time before. I hope so, anyway, because he really missed the obvious otherwise!
I’m with ya Dougy… who wants some treats when there is the whole bag? I’ll do that too… I overlook the treat on the floor and I try to get the bag in the hand of the mama…;o)
He did chew a little on the corner of one of the bags in the treat box, but then acted like he didn’t get it when I stuck a kitty treat right in front of him!
