Not much happening inside, so Andy diverts his attention…
…outside. Birds in the happy fir tree? Andy hopes so!
Later, Andy and I played with the tear strip off the kitty boys’ dry food bag. It holds incredible fascination for Andy, who sometimes holds back when playing. Not with this “toy”! Mrow! Andy had so much fun, Dougy came running from the guest bedroom to play, too!
[This is Dougy’s “I’m ready to pounce” look.]
I tried putting the tear strip away – in a big medicine bottle because they want to chew on the strip, which is plastic – but Andy and Dougy think it is so much fun, they are very upset with me for even thinking of ending the fun.
Those tear strips make great toys! I could never figure out what the attraction to plastic is with our cats. They lick plastic bags, too.
Same here. I can’t imagine anything in the natural world that is similar. [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGoJdzsR8g8&w=560&h=315%5D
Yep, Andy is just like our kitties!
such attention
& caring 🙂
That Dougy face is still: 😍😍😍
LOL! Yeah!
I want to play! Andy you & I would have such great fun, ’cause I like to play with those strips, too! Like your papa, my mom puts them away after playtime so I don’t eat them. Tee hee hee! They just don’t understand how fun it is to chew plasties (that’s what I call them)!
I don’t understand the thrill, either, but, since they enjoy playing with the tear strips, I make sure they get to have their fun!
I do love Dougy’s ready-to-pounce expression!
It’s one of my favorite Dougy photos for that reason. I think there was a gnat on the wall when I took that photo.
They are like children ! All the household odds and ends are such fun, more than properly made toys.
Box or tear strip, wad of paper, sheet of paper on the floor, all potential kitty fun!
doodz…tear strips R way better N burd watchin…any day !!! 🙂 ♥♥
The kitty boys keep wanting me to play “tear strip” with them today. So much for paying $30 for some fantastic cat toy!
