The medicine bottle contains that silly cat food bag tear strip the kitty boys currently regard to be “The Best Kitty Toy Ever”! Dougy is begging me to open it and play Tear Strip with him.
Yay! Great fun is had by all! (Well, Andy wasn’t around or he’d have had fun, too.)
Sorry for the poor lighting, but here you see Dougy protesting the end of play. His paw is on my leg, and his claws are out just enough to make his (no pun intended) point.
Sometimes the simplest toys are the best. 🙂
And, if not, at least I haven’t put a lot of money out for them!

It amazes me how much fun cats have with simple items, yet when we spend a fortune on something for them, they usually have no interest. 🙂
Me, too! I’ve stopped buying cute toys I think they’ll like. Makes me feel like Scrooge, but no point in buying something they don’t play with.
haha…they do have their ways of letting you know stopping the play is not acceptable.

Yes, those get lots of attention from my kitty boys, too! They also like tape on packages, so I have to take that off any boxes I don’t immediately break down and scrap. Kitty proofing is a full time job!

We had an endless (almost!) game of kitty food bag tear strip play this morning. I eventually had to cut it short so could get ready for dialysis.
that is the bestest toy… I agree… but I would probably wreck it… dogs are not well balanced enough for such games ;o)
All kitties need to match your enthusiasm is poundage. Take my word for it, they can be very destructive!
