It’s been awhile since the kitty boys and I watched videos for kitties. A birdie video seems appropriate for the day, and the kitty boys are instantly interested.
Andy always gets pretty wound up and attacks the laptop! LOL! (“Where’d that dang birdie go?!)
Andy takes a new post, so I have to realign the laptop so both kitty boys can see the screen again. Of course…
…Andy attacks the laptop again! This goes on as long as we watch kitty videos.
(Incidentally, we hope you have a tasty Thanksgiving bird of your own!)

Actually, it was just my husband and myself, and the cat gang, but we enjoyed the day and the feast.
Good for you! I think people need to take that slower approach to the holiday. I used to enjoy seeing the family on Thanksgiving, but the disruption to regular life patterns was wearing. (I was glad to see them leave, too! LOL!)
It was not by choice, as my father is no longer with us, and all the kids and grandkids are out of town, but it was still nice.

We did. Just came back from a nice dinner with friends.
I had a chance to help a friend out when she needed it. Earlier, when my car was in for repairs, she made sure I got to dialysis, so I was pleased to have a chance to help her back! That was a perfect way to spend part of Thanksgiving. Then we had a strong cup of coffee and a long, enjoyable chat.
Long chats with a cup of coffee, those are the best.
Absolutely! Plus I learned she was dealing with a coffeemaker that clearly was worn out. I had an extra that I bought on sale, thinking it’d be nice to have one on hand the next time my coffeemaker gave up the ghost. Sooo, I gave it to her, and she made a pot in minutes when she got home and was sooo happy! It was a nice way to begin my Thanksgiving day!
That is a real Thanksgiving day, where we give instead of take. Thanksgiving has an awful history.

The kitty boys are football virgins since I find it difficult to commit to that many hours watching a game. On the other hand, the find soccer fascinating, and car races, too! Hope you are yours had a wonder Thanksgiving, too, Greg!
Potato soup sounds good to me. I dropped the turkey a couple of years ago. I like dark meat and all the turkeys were so huge I wound up eating white meat for far too long. Even with some of the cats helping it seemed endless. Godd company is they key anyway and you have the boys. Happy Thanksgiving.
You are right about that! I would be eating turkey for a very long time if I fixed it since it’s just the kitty boys and me here. They like their turkey in pate form. I like mine in any form possible!

I got some last week. Turkey used to be special when you got it on Thanksgiving, maybe Christmas. Now you can have it virtually any time of year in many forms.

No turkey here today since turkey for one is problematic! I may go to a restaurant with friends for the holiday if they decide to go, otherwise, a homemade potato soup and crackers my get me through the holiday. (I happen to make an excellent potato soup!) Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
