Aw, that old fir tree out the back window! Andy’s bird watching. No, he doesn’t have membership in the Nebraska Ornithologists’ Union. Membership isn’t required here in Nebraska to watch birds, just an interest in the little tweeters!
You know how you are just minding your business and you have this sense you are being watched?
Well, that’s what just happened to Andy. He suspects Dougy.
Dougy protests. “No I’m not!”
Andy knows better! Dougy’s watching him watching birds. Grrr!
I wonder if cats get that creepy feeling humans do when someone is watching us?
If you stare directly at them, I’;m sure they do! Andy and Dougy even get creeped out when a camera’s pointed at them.
They boys are endlessly entertaining!
Yes, I get a lot of fun watching them settle squabbles and just being kitties!

It’s fear of what Dougy will try to do to that fluffy tail. They chase each other most days, with some ending in rough play and clumps of hair coming off. (I know! You thought they always were little angels!)

For some reason I find Shoko is overwhelmed by crows. She chatters away to them as if they can hear her. Kali could care less and never bothers with any bird.

Squirrels get the boys chattering, as do robins.
Look at that intent look and good thing those birds are outside or the boys would be having bird stew.
