It looked promising. Both Andy and Dougy were positioned to play with me.

What!? What!? What!? Where did the kitty boys go!?

Andy decided to nap on the carrier, and Dougy positioned himself to play. It looked promising, but Dougy got bored with the game and decided he’d have a nap, too.

Some days we just don’t connect!

  1. Don’t worry, Mr. Doug, they still love you. I haven’t been in much of a playing mood lately, ’cause of my allergies or maybe Mom and I are having connection issues, too. Hugs!

    • Thanks, Valentine! I think our problem is we are screwed up on our sleeping schedules. Both kitty boys are napping now, but the three of us have been having a heck of a time coordinating our awake times.

  2. I have never followed any of the advice on how to make a cat “like” the cat carrier. No cat here would ever sleep on one. In fact, here is a tip: put the carrier where you don’t want a caat to go–or even a cat as well! Seems to work for me.

    • Both Andy and Dougy will sleep in the stacked carriers I’ve always stored next to the recliner. They are part of the cat highway through that part of the room as well. One time when I couldn’t find Dougy to take him to an appointment, I located him in the bottom carrier! Off he went to the appointment, self trapped!

  3. haha. This is familiar. How about the look they give you like, “I don’t have a clue what you want to do with that string but I can tell ya…..” Shoko gives me that look which means FORGET ABOUT IT!
