Andy is very sleepy this morning and can’t be lured off his new happy spot, the top of the stacked cat carriers. When he isn’t on top, he slips into the top carrier for a little privacy and a different place to snooze.
Dougy looks a bit more ready for Freddy! So I get out the wand toy for what promises to be a vigorous, enthusiastic play session!
Whew~ could use a vacuuming by and under the recliner! But for the moment, it’s a dead bust for play. Dougy decides he’s not in the mood.
Since Andy’s still on the stacked carriers…
…Dougy hops up on the computer desk and hangs out on Andy’s sometimes happy place. What cheek!
“So what?” Dougy seems to say, “Andy can come and take it if he thinks he’s a big enough kitty boy!”
The weather has been of the sleepy sort lately. Come spring there will be many things to see out the window. 🙂

The kitty boys may be brothers, but they definitely are uniquely who they are! Andy’s more serious but sweet, and Dougy has a goofy, fun personality.
That only seems fair that Dougy get to sit on the computer desk for awhile. Does he ever sit on top of the carriers like Andy?
Yes, they territories are fluid, with the exception of the ottoman. Andy has taken over the top of the stacked carriers lately. I think it’s because found the towel that went missing, washed it, and put it back on top of the carriers. The end table with the lamp is still Andy’s, too. Dougy, of course, loves that flamingo tun. Both kitty boys have favorite boxes.
Cats are nocturnal; they do play while we humans sleep.

The surprise was they both were that way at the same time. Maybe they played while I slept…?!
hehe…Here it is 2:30am and I’m up playing with Shoko in our private time. Whoops, Its 3am now. Must be time to go back to bed. Andy and Dougy lack the “get up and tear the place up” gene at the moment. It will come back when you least want to see it.
