Andy let me know he wanted to watch videos by hopping onto the recliner arm closer to me. I knew which one he wanted: the string video!
It didn’t take long before he started to hop on the laptop, so I put it on the light stand instead of having a cat on a keyboard on my lap.
Inevitably, he hit something that took the video back to the Google screen.
Dougy pouted in the meantime because Andy blocked the screen…
…which now showed scary stuff that told me Andy found the taskbar and might be changing settings!
Whew! I pulled him off the laptop and ended the video show.
Andy was not amused!

Andy rates this video: Three Point Seventy-Five Paws out of Four! He was mesmerized by the large string popping out of nowhere, and watched till he had to climb on the keyboard to catch it! It amused him a bit more than the video in this series that he’s watching in the photos above, which features a smaller string. Size does matter to this kitty boy!
Kommando Kitty activated most of the hot-key functions on my new laptop before I knew how to reverse them. 🙂
Oh dear! That’s my worst fear! I have enough angst about how Microsoft updates alter settings and how I have to waste time not only for the time it takes for the updates to release the laptop back to me, but what I have to undo or relearn to have a useful tool again!
I’m going to be lost when my son graduates from college and leaves home.

Andy highly recommends that string video, as you probably noticed, and I think it was Buffalo Bob who said one of his cats thinks it’s pretty hot video, too.
Andy was really optimizing your computer for you. And I bet Andy has a secret login string password. Sometimes I make the computer voice come on. It is funny, ’cause Mom can’t figure out how I do it. Does Andy do that, too?
No computer voices – yet! But I got pretty worried he was going to change something and I wouldn’t be able to use my laptop. Logon? Probably something like “dougystinkbutt” or “thisismine”.
Poor Andy. This is a fun video, I just played it for Emmy and it got her attention. I need to show it to some of my other cats.
It is mindlessly simple, yet probably got the best response of all videos I’ve shown Andy my video hound) and Dougy who usually gets bored after a short time. He’s more enthusiastic about real toys and things!)
Do they watch TV? My two boys watch TV pretty often. My kitties in the past weren’t as into it.
Andy does, but Dougy is less interested in it. What surprises me about Andy is the things he watches.
