The kitty boys are so fluffy these days, sometimes it looks like a massive hairball on the ottoman more than a kitty boy.
There’s the kitty, I’m pretty sure!
For sure! The furball moved! It’s a Dougy!
=(^+^)=
Andy continues to improve in appearance and weight. While he was ill, his fur was greasy and coarse feeling because he wasn’t up to maintaining himself. Now, it is soft and pleasant to the touch again, and he clearly feels heavier than his last measured weight of 9.4 pounds/ 4,26k.
He’s doing much better about taking his medicine now, too, since I let it get room temperature before I give it to him. I think that was the big issue – too cold for him just out of the refrigerator!
Good to hear Andy continues to improve. Willow has a stubborn UTI she is being treated for now. Wish her luck.
Things went well for him for a change, though there is the matter of his stronger blood pressure medicine!
haha…together again! Glad Andy is getting back to his ole self. It will take time. Kali had that same feeling in her fur when she couldn’t clean her coat.

I did a little “dethatching” in his under belly after I gave him his medicine this morning. A bit at a time…. When he’s upset with anymore of it, I stop. He has more mats than Dougy because he resists regular brushing.
So pleased Andy’s on the mend! 😺💕xxx
Me, too. He still is less active than I like, but that may be a matter of dosage. There is a follow up evaluation of that and the effect of the treatment on May 7th, and that is one thing I will review with Andy;s veterinarian.
Yes, dosage could have something to do with it – I know Charlie’s medication can sometimes knock her out if she has to have a double dose. Fingers and paws crossed though that he is soon full of beans again 🙂 xxx
Thanks! Quality of life issues are important to me. I want Andy to enjoy being a kitty. Dougy manages quite well.
Happy news about Andy! And great shots of the luxuriant fluff that turns out to be, Dougy!
I definitely am happy with the progress he’s made. He does seem much happier, though I think he may need a lighter dose so he can be more active. It’s a topic to discuss with his veterinarian!
Glad to hear good news about Andy ! Purrs
After how sick he was, it is very encouraging to see how he is now!
Good news about Andy, Dougy and their ” father ” human. Thank you.
Fluffy persians have good and patient human – fathers and mothers !
amitiés – bon dimanche 🙂
I try to be good for them!
Good news about Andy! Yay!
Thanks!
so glad Andy’s getting better – I was worried
Me, too! He’s always been a bit more fragile than his brother.
